Writing Rules

1. Three files must be uploaded to the system. One is a text file without author information, the second is a cover file, and the third is the copyright form.
2. The text file must include the article's titles, Turkish özet, anahtar kelimeler, English abstract, keywords, introduction, method, findings (or subheadings appropriate to the article), conclusion and recommendations, and bibliography.
3. In the cover file, the authors' names must be written in capital letters and all surnames in capital letters under the Turkish and English titles, authors’ titles, institutions/departments, e-mail addresses, and ORCID numbers. The cover file must also include (the template on the journal's website), such as the financial support statement and conflict of interest statement.
4. The article must include a Turkish özet and a minimum four, a maximum of six anahtar kelime immediately below it, and an English abstract and a minimum four, a maximum of six keywords immediately below it.
5. In articles related to health, it is recommended to choose keywords from Türkiye Scientific Terms (http://www.bilimterimleri.com).
6. The abstract must be at least 100 words and at most 200 words. The abstract title must be written in all capital letters, bold, and left-aligned. The abstract content and keywords should be in 11-point font size and 1.15 line spacing.
7. In Turkish articles, the Turkish title should be written in bold capital letters and centered. The line spacing should be 1.15.
8. The English title should be written in bold capital letters and centered just above the “abstract”. The line spacing should be 1.15.
9. In English articles, the Turkish title should be written in capital letters and right below the English title in capital letters.
10. The entire article should be prepared in A4 format.
11. 2.5 cm margins should be left, right, top and bottom.
12. Times New Roman font should be used with 12-point font size for the entire text.
13. The text should be prepared with 1.5 line spacing.
14. The text of the article should be aligned on both sides.
15. Tables, figures, and equations should be numbered consecutively within themselves.
16. 6 pt paragraph spacing should be used before headings and paragraph beginnings.
17. A one-centimeter paragraph indentation should be applied at the beginning of each paragraph.
18. All main headings should be written in capital letters, bold, left aligned.
19. Second-level headings should be left aligned, 12 pt size, bold, and in sentence order. Third-level headings should be left aligned, 12 pt size, bold, in sentence order, and italic.
20. Page numbers should be in Times New Roman, 12 pt size, at the bottom right.
21. Explanations regarding certain issues to be used in the text can be stated as footnotes at the bottom of the page. These types of footnotes should follow each other numerically. However, references cannot be given as footnotes or endnotes at the bottom of the page. References to sources should be given between parentheses within the text. Footnotes should not be used to refer to sources.
22. APA (American Psychological Association) 6.0 spelling rules and source citation format are applied in our journal. Articles should be arranged by taking these spelling rules into consideration.
23. Tables and figures should also be arranged according to APA 6.0 version.
24. Table titles must be in 11-point font, above the table, left-justified sentence format.
25. The table must be placed centered on the page.
26. Text within the table must be in 11-point font.
27. If there is a source reference to the table, it must be placed below the table and must be in 11-point font.
28. Table line spacing must be 1.15.
29. Figure and graphic names must be placed below and must be in 11-point font.
30. REFERENCES must be written in 12-point font, second line one centimeter indented, justified and 1.15 line spacing in alphabetical order.
31. The entire text (including the özet and anahtar kelimeler, English abstract and keywords, tables, figures, figures, and footnotes, excluding the references) should not exceed 10,000 words.
