Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Four files must be uploaded to the system:
(i) the main manuscript file without author information,
(ii) the cover page file,
(iii) the copyright transfer form, and
(iv) the declaration of artificial intelligence usage.

The manuscript file must obligatorily include the following sections: titles, Turkish abstract, keywords, English abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, findings (or appropriate subheadings depending on the article type), conclusion and recommendations, and references.

The cover page file must include the Turkish and English titles, followed by the authors’ names (with the first letter of the given name capitalized and the entire surname written in capital letters), academic titles, institutional affiliations/departments, e-mail addresses, and ORCID IDs. The cover page must also include statements such as funding acknowledgment and conflict of interest, using the template provided on the journal’s website.

Each manuscript must include a Turkish abstract followed immediately by at least four and at most six keywords, as well as an English abstract followed immediately by at least four and at most six keywords.

For manuscripts related to the health sciences, it is recommended that keywords be selected from Turkey Science Terms (http://www.bilimterimleri.com
).

Abstracts must be a minimum of 150 words and a maximum of 300 words. The abstract heading must be written in bold, uppercase letters, left-aligned. The abstract text and keywords must be written in 11-point font with 1.15 line spacing.

For manuscripts written in Turkish, the Turkish title must be written in bold, uppercase letters, centered, with 1.15 line spacing.

The English title must be written in bold, uppercase letters, centered, immediately above the English abstract, with 1.15 line spacing.

For manuscripts written in English, the English title written in uppercase letters must be followed immediately by the Turkish title, also written in uppercase letters.

The entire manuscript must be prepared in A4 page format.

Margins must be set to 2.5 cm on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right).

The entire text must be written in Times New Roman, 12-point font size.

The main text must be prepared with 1.5 line spacing.

The manuscript text must be justified.

Tables, figures, and equations must be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript.

A paragraph spacing of 6 pt before and after headings and paragraphs must be applied.

Each paragraph must begin with a 1 cm first-line indentation.

Main headings must be written in bold, uppercase letters, left-aligned.

Second-level headings must be left-aligned, 12-point font size, bold, and written in sentence case. Third-level headings must be left-aligned, 12-point font size, bold, written in sentence case, and italicized.

Page numbers must be placed at the bottom right, written in Times New Roman, 12-point font size.

Explanatory notes related to specific issues in the text may be provided as footnotes at the bottom of the page. Such footnotes must be numbered consecutively. However, references must not be given as footnotes or endnotes. Citations must be provided in parentheses within the text. Footnotes must not be used for referencing sources.

The journal follows the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition style guidelines for writing and referencing. Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with these guidelines. For detailed information, see: https://apastyle.apa.org/

Tables and figures must also be prepared in accordance with the APA 7th edition guidelines.

Table titles must be written in 11-point font, placed above the table, left-aligned, and written in sentence case.

Tables must be centered on the page.

Text within tables must be written in 11-point font.

If a table includes a source citation, it must be placed below the table and written in 11-point font.

Table line spacing must be 1.15.

Figure and graph captions must be placed below the figures and written in 11-point font.

The References section must be written in 12-point font, with a 1 cm hanging indent, justified alignment, 1.15 line spacing, and arranged alphabetically.

The total length of the manuscript (excluding the references section but including abstracts and keywords, English abstract and keywords, tables, figures, illustrations, and footnotes) must not exceed 8,000 words.
