The Publication Model Selection screens, which will determine the operation of the journals, will open in December.

🚨 Who Has the Authority to Select?
This selection can ONLY be made by a user with the Primary Editor role.

⚠️ Warning: If you do not have a defined Primary Editor in the system, you will not be able to access the selection screen. Your Scientific Publication Coordinator (SPC) must urgently appoint an Primary Editor.

⏳ Deadline and Locking
You will have until the end of December to make your decision.
ℹ️ As of January 1st: The system locks your selection.
ℹ️ Right to Change: After January 1st, absolutely no model changes can be made for that year.
ℹ️ Late Requests: Model change requests made after January 1st will only be valid for the following year (2027).

🤷‍♂️ What Happens If I Don't Make a Selection?
If you do not make any selection by January 1st, the system will preserve your current settings (whichever months you publish issues in) exactly as they are, and you will continue as a "Periodical" (Classic).
