Scope
ASA Journal accepts submissions from the following core disciplines and their related subfields, in line with the academic focus of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at Ankara Social Sciences University:
The journal’s target audience includes academics, researchers, graduate students, and professionals working in or interested in the fields of social and human sciences.
Author Guidelines – Style and Formatting
ASA Journal adopts the APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association) citation and formatting style for all manuscripts submitted for publication.
Authors are expected to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the rules and recommendations outlined in the APA Style guidelines.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
ASA Journal is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original scholarly articles, article translations, and book reviews in the fields of anthropology, literature, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and history. All manuscripts submitted to ASA Journal are subject to a double-blind peer review process, after which they are published online with open and free access.
The ethical principles and publication policies outlined below are based on the Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Guidelines of the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Submission of articles to ASA Journal is free of charge.
Open Access Policy
ASA Journal adopts an open access policy. Accordingly, all articles published in the journal can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, and used with proper attribution without any cost or restrictions. The journal operates under the Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
ASA Journal permits authors to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional or subject-based repositories without any embargo, provided proper attribution is given and the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license are followed.

2020 yılında Ege Üniversitesi Sosyoloji bölümündeki, 2022 yılında ise Anadolu Üniversitesi Uluslararası İlişkiler bölümündeki lisans eğitimini tamamladı. Sosyoloji Lisans eğitimi sırasında bir dönem boyunca Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf'da değişim öğrencisi olarak bulundu. Lisansüstü eğitimi sırasında Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Sosyoloji Tezli Yüksek Lisans Programında eğitim alıp "An Interpretation of Cybersecurity in Türkiye Through the Lens of Actor-Network Theory" başlıklı sosyal ve teknolojik unsurların etkileşimini ele alan tezini yazmıştır. Lisansüstü eğitimine halen Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Sosyoloji Bölümünde devam etmektedir. Akademik kariyerine 2021 yılı güz dönemi sonunda araştırma görevlisi olarak atandığı Bursa Teknik Üniversitesi Sosyoloji Bölümünde başlamıştır. 2023 yılından beri aktif olarak Ankara Sosyal Bilimler Üniversitesi Sosyoloji Bölümü Uygulamalı Sosyoloji Anabilim Dalında araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaktadır.
Prof. Dr.
Alwi Alatas is an assistant professor at the Department of History & Civilization, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Previously, he studied History at the University of Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia, and after that continued and completed studies in History and Civilization at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He published academic articles and books about the Hadrami community in the Dutch East Indies in the 19th and 20th centuries (including their relationship with the Ottoman), and also a few other subjects.
Dr. Murat Boysan deneyimli bir klinik araştırmacı ve psikolojik danışman olarak Ankara Sosyal Bilimler Üniversitesi’ nde görev yapmaktadır. Araştırmacı yüksek lisans derecesini Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Psikiyatri Anabilim dalından almıştır. Sonrasında Biyometri ve Genetik alanında çalışmalarına devam etmiştir. Doktora derecesini Ankara Üniversitesi Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık programında tamamlamıştır. Travma ve stresörle ilişkili bozukluklar, sirkadyen ritim ve psikolojik problemlerde bilişsel yatkınlık akademik çalışma alanları arasındadır.
