The Relationship Between Knowledge Sharing, Transformational Leadership, Frugal Innovation and Firm Performance

Öz

The literature on frugal innovation, which enables the use of limited resources to provide solutions without sacrificing quality in basic functions, is still developing. In this context, this study aims to examine the relationships between transformational leadership, knowledge sharing, frugal innovation and firm performance. It is also aimed to reveal the moderating role of market uncertainty in the relationship between frugal innovation and firm performance. Therefore, 253 data were collected by survey method from manufacturing industry managers in Gebze. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there was a positive relationship between transformational leadership and frugal innovation and between knowledge sharing and frugal innovation. Furthermore, it was found that frugal innovation and firm performance were positively related, and market uncertainty had no moderating effect on this relationship.

Bilgi Paylaşımı, Dönüşümcü Liderlik, Tutumlu İnovasyon ve Firma Performansı Arasındaki İlişki

Öz

Kısıtlı kaynak kullanımı ile temel işlevlerde kaliteden ödün vermeden çözümler sunmayı mümkün kılan tutumlu inovasyon kavramına ilişkin literatür henüz gelişme aşamasındadır. Bu kapsamda bu çalışmanın amacı, dönüşümcü liderlik, bilgi paylaşımı, tutumlu inovasyon ve firma performansı arasındaki ilişkileri incelemektir. Ayrıca tutumlu inovasyon ile firma performansı arasındaki ilişkide pazar belirsizliğinin düzenleyici rolünün ortaya konması da hedeflenmektedir. Bu sebeple Gebze’deki imalat sanayi yöneticilerinden anket yöntemiyle 253 veri toplanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, dönüşümcü liderlik ile tutumlu inovasyon arasında ve bilgi paylaşımı ile tutumlu inovasyon arasında pozitif ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, tutumlu inovasyon ve firma performansının da pozitif ilişkili olduğu, pazar belirsizliğinin ise bu ilişkide düzenleyici etkisinin bulunmadığı saptanmıştır.
