He was born in 1978 in the village of Şenyurt, Erzurum. He completed his primary and secondary education in Erzurum and his undergraduate studies at Selçuk University Faculty of Theology. He was appointed as a teacher in 2000 and began his master's degree at Atatürk University Institute of Social Sciences in the same year. He completed his master's degree in 2003. In the same year, he began his doctoral studies at Erciyes University Institute of Social Sciences, completing his PhD in 2010 with a thesis titled ‘The Miracle from a Philosophical and Theological Perspective’. In 2012, he began working as a faculty member at the Department of Philosophy of Religion at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Theology. In addition to his scientific work at the same faculty, he served as vice dean for two years. He conducted scientific research in the United States (Georgetown University) for three months. He became an associate professor in 2019 and a professor in 2024. He currently works as a faculty member in the Department of Islamic Philosophy at Atatürk University Faculty of Theology. I conduct research in the field of social psychology. My research interests include social norms, intergroup relations, social identity, and collective attitudes, intentions, and behaviours. In my master’s studies, I focused on cultural appropriation. In my PhD research, I examined the role of social norms in shaping individuals’ attitudes, intentions, and behaviours. More specifically, I investigated the effects of descriptive and injunctive norms, with a particular focus on dynamic and static norm processes.

In my research, I adopt an experimental social psychology approach and conduct studies on social change, collective action, normative influence, and intergroup processes. I also continue my academic work in the areas of statistics, psychometrics, scale development, and scale adaptation.

She completed his undergraduate degree in Tourism Management and Hotel Management at Balıkesir University in 2011, her master's degree in Tourism Management and Hotel Management at Atatürk University's Institute of Social Sciences in 2014, and his Ph.D. in 2018. She worked as a research assistant at Atatürk University (2013-2019) and has been working as an assistant professor at Kocaeli University's Faculty of Tourism since 2019.
