The International Journal of Euroasian Researches is an independently published scholarly journal based that prioritizes academic communication at the international level. The journal focuses on Turkish culture, history, civilization, and diplomatic structures, and within this framework aims to examine cultural, historical, and social interactions across the Eurasian geography extending from Hungary to China through rigorous scholarly inquiry. To this end, it seeks to publish disciplinary and/or interdisciplinary articles grounded in the methodologies of philology, literature, folklore, history, political science, international relations, and sociology, thereby establishing an international intellectual platform for these fields. The journal is published quarterly, with issues released regularly in March, June, September, and December. Since its inception, it has adopted a publishing ethos centered on scientific ethical principles, with the aim of ensuring open knowledge production accessible to both national and international academic communities.
Eurasia-based original research articles written in Turkish, English, or Russian in the fields of philology, literature, folklore, history, political science, international relations, and sociology—particularly those focusing on Turkish history and culture—are first subjected to a preliminary evaluation and then forwarded to expert reviewers. In cases where there is a divergence of opinion in the referee reports, the manuscript is sent to a third reviewer; the final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board. Authors are obliged to take into account the academic recommendations provided during the evaluation process and may submit reasoned counterarguments supported by scholarly justification if necessary. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are not returned at any stage of the process.
The target audience of the journal includes academics, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as institutions and organizations interested in Turkish history, culture, and the Eurasian region. Encouraging the sharing of scholarly knowledge at both national and international levels is among the journal’s primary objectives.
The International Journal of Euroasian Researches accepts research and review articles in Turkish, Russian, and English; research notes; critical editions and translations of texts; book and scholarly event reviews; doctoral dissertation abstracts; compilations; translations; short reports; technical notes; interviews; biographical and bibliographical studies; and writings.
