Hikmet Batuhan GÜNŞEN, 1980 yılında Lüleburgaz’da (Kırklareli) doğmuş, ilk ve orta öğrenimini Lüleburgaz’da tamamlayarak 2000 yılında Zonguldak Karaelmas Üniversitesi, Bartın Orman Fakültesi, Orman Mühendisliği Bölümünde lisans eğitimine başlamıştır. 2004 yılında Zonguldak Karaelmas Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Orman Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı, Ormancılık Politikası Bilim Dalında Yüksek Lisans eğitimine başlamıştır. 2005 yılında Zonguldak Karaelmas Üniversitesi, Bartın Orman Fakültesi, Orman Mühendisliği Bölümü Ormancılık Politikası Anabilim Dalında Araştırma Görevlisi olarak göreve başlamıştır. 2006 yılında Batı Karadeniz Bölgesi’ndeki Ormancılık Kooperatiflerinin Sorunları ve Çözüm Önerileri (Kastamonu Örneği) adlı tezini Yrd. Doç. Dr. Erdoğan ATMİŞ danışmanlığında tamamlayarak orman yüksek mühendisi unvanını almıştır. 2006 yılında Zonguldak Karaelmas Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Orman Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı, Ormancılık Politikası Bilim Dalında doktora eğitimine başlamıştır. Bartın Orman Fakültesi’nin 2008 yılında kurulan Bartın Üniversitesi’ne bağlanmasıyla birlikte doktora eğitimine Bartın Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Orman Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı Ormancılık Politikası Bilim Dalında devam etmiştir. 2012 yılında “Orman Köylerinde İç Göçleri Etkileyen Faktörler (Bartın-Kastamonu Örneği)” başlıklı doktora tezini Doç. Dr. Erdoğan ATMİŞ danışmanlığında tamamlamış ve Doktor unvanını almaya hak kazanmıştır. 31 Ocak 2013 tarihinden beri Bartın Üniversitesi Orman Fakültesi Orman Mühendisliği Bölümü Ormancılık Politikası Anabilim Dalında Doktor Öğretim Üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Evli ve iki çocuk babasıdır.

Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsünden Doktora eğitimimi tamamladım. 1996 yılında İ.Ü.Orman Fakültesi Orman İnşaatı ve Transportu Anabilim Dalında Araştırma Görevlisi olarak göreve başladım. 2005 yılında Yard.Doçent., 2011 yılında Doçent ve 2016 yılında Profesör ünvanlarını aldım. Toplamda 200'ün üzerinde yayınım bulunmaktadır. Halen İÜC Orman Fakültesi Orman İnşaatı ve Transportu Anabilim Dalında görev yapmaktayım.
Miklós Bak holds a PhD in materials science and technology from University of Sopron. He has gained practical experience working in the higher education and research since 2010.
He is currently conducting research at University of Sopron, focusing on wood modification using biopolymers, nanoparticles and different combined methods. He aims to find ways for sustainable production of durable and dimensionally stable wood.
