The basic principle of our journal, which has adopted the Budapest Open Access Initiative, is to make scientific knowledge available to users in open access. Definitions of the adopted Budapest Open Access Initiative can be found here.

BEU Journal of Faculty of Theology offers the content of the journal to readers and researchers as open access, free of charge and accessible at any time. Readers can read, download, copy, search and link to the full text of the journal articles without permission from the publisher or author, except for commercial purposes. This is in line with the BOAI open access definition.

While implementing an open access policy, our journal also secures the published works with Creative Commons Licence in order to protect the copyrights of the authors.

Authors own the copyright and all commercial rights of their works published in BEÜİFD. The authors' works are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Citation-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). The Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-Non-Derivative 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) licence grants third parties permission to share, copy and reproduce the work in any size and format, provided that the work is for non-commercial use and attribution is given.

Authors may upload PDF files of their articles published under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence to their institutional repositories and other article platforms.
Licence Scope:

The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms (specified rights) as long as you fulfil the terms of the licence.
