Lara Guedes de Pinho is Professor at the Instituto Politécnicode de Viana do Castelo. She is Integrated Researcher at the Comprehensive Health Research Centre (CHRC). She is PhD in Nursing and Health, since 2021 (Universitat Rovira i Virgilli), PhD in Psychology since 2018 and Master in Clinical and Health Psychology, since 2013 (both at the University of Aveiro). She is a Mental Health Nurse. She has published more than 80 articles in scientific journals. She has co-authored more than 20 book chapters. Organized more than 10 scientific events. Received 6 awards and/or honors. She was awarded a seal of excellence from the European Commission for her application for the Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship.
She works in the areas of Nursing and Health Sciences and in Social Sciences, with emphasis on Mental Health Nursing and Aging. In her professional activities she has interacted with more than 150 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific papers
