BÜST Başkent University International Journal of Art, Design and Architecture aims to serve as an international scholarly platform that supports theoretical, methodological, and practice-based research in the fields of art, design, and architecture. The journal seeks to promote critical inquiry, enhance the visibility of original and innovative approaches, and contribute meaningfully to knowledge production by fostering interdisciplinary engagement.

The journal covers original scholarly studies in the fields of architecture, interior architecture and environmental design, urban design, industrial design, textile and fashion design, visual communication design, graphic design, animation and cartoon studies, film design, art history, fine arts, performing arts, as well as gastronomy and culinary arts.
The journal publishes theoretical analyses, empirical research, practice-based studies, and critical evaluations. Research that examines the social, cultural, technological, and environmental dimensions of art, design, and spatial production, and that develops interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches, falls within the scope of the journal.
