Prof. Dr. İsmail Tokmak completed his bachelor’s degree in 1995, his master’s degree in 1998 and his PhD in 2008. In 2016, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of “Management and Strategy”. On 7 December 2021, he was appointed Professor by the Rectorate of Başkent University. He currently serves as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture and Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Başkent University.

Associate Professor Dr. İlkay Yılmaz completed her undergraduate education in Engineering Sciences at Ege University and pursued her master’s and doctoral studies in the field of Food Engineering. Dr. Yılmaz currently serves as a faculty member and نائب head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Başkent University. She also holds the position of Director of the Turkish Culinary Culture Research and Application Center at the same university. Focusing her academic work on food safety, gastronomy, sustainable culinary practices, and Turkish culinary culture, Yılmaz teaches various undergraduate and graduate courses and contributes to numerous national and international scientific publications and academic studies.
