Abstract
Because of their role in the national economy and strategic importance, energy firms should focus not only on economic growth, but also on improving their corporate sustainability in all aspects. In this study, an integrated method, which integrates CRITIC and EDAS method, is proposed for corporate sustainability performance evaluation. Using the proposed method, the corporate sustainability performance of an energy company as of 2010-2018 was evaluated. The CRITIC method, one of the objective weighting methods based on the actual value of the criteria, was used to calculate the weights of the sustainability criteria. The calculated criteria weights were used as input in the EDAS method and the corporate sustainability assessment of the company was conducted over the years. According to the results of the analysis, it is observed that the corporate sustainability performance of the company is not stable but it has started to increase as of 2018. In addition, the results obtained by integrating the EDAS method with different criteria weighting methods were compared. It has been demonstrated that the proposed approach is an appropriate tool for evaluating corporate sustainability performance.
