Preliminary Review: Submitted manuscripts are reviewed by the secretary for compliance with the journal's publication and writing rules and citation system. Studies that do not meet these criteria are returned to the author and are not included in the process again.
Field Editor Review: The work that passes the Preliminary Review stage is reviewed by the relevant field editor in terms of academic language, style and competence. For works that do not meet these criteria, corrections may be requested or rejected, depending on the situation.
Peer-Review Process: After being reviewed by the field editor, the manuscript is submitted to at least two referees -experts in the relevant field- for evaluation. If one of the referees gives a “rejection” decision, a third referee is consulted.
Reviewers are asked to make one of four different decisions (Acceptance, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Rejection) defined in the system. The final decision belongs to the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Team. If deemed necessary, the Editorial Board or experts in the relevant field are consulted.
Final Reading, Foreign Language Control and Layout Process: The manuscripts that are accepted as a result of the referee evaluation and taken into the publication process are proofread and foreign language checked respectively. For the studies that complete these processes, a DOI number is obtained and sent to the layout editor. At this stage, the author is asked to check the text for the last time.
Publication Process: Studies whose layout is completed are assigned to the relevant issue. The journal issue is published on the announced date.
