The Journal of Disadvantaged Groups and Social Work (DGSW) is an international peer-reviewed research journal that provides a platform for researchers conducting studies in the field of social work, particularly those focusing on disadvantaged groups.
The journal was published as Journal of International Social Work Research (JSWR) from 2020 to 2025. Starting in 2026, the journal has adopted a continuous publication system, whereby accepted articles are published online on a rolling basis under its new title.
The journal publishes in Turkish and English and is made available electronically as a periodical academic publication.

The article publication format of the journal has been updated.
There is no formatting obligation at the initial submission stage. Authors must submit their manuscripts as Word documents, written in Times New Roman, 12-point font, and formatted as plain text.
