The primary goal of EUJEF, an international peer-reviewed journal, is to contribute to the advancement of efficient education systems in Turkey and globally, as well as the effective implementation of education in a high-quality manner. The journal aims to facilitate access to research works in the field of education, emphasize original and contemporary studies, offer practical examples to education professionals, and establish a platform for researchers and practitioners to stay updated on current educational research.
EUJEF focuses on studies related to educational sciences and processes, encompassing all aspects of education and training across various educational levels, ranging from early childhood education to higher education and lifelong learning.
Aligned with these aims, research pertaining to the field of educational sciences and educational procedures fall under the purview of the EUJEF. Studies that center on any facet of educational and training procedures across all educational levels, ranging from early childhood education to tertiary education, and from tertiary education to continuous education, are encompassed within EUJEF's publication focus. Within this framework, EUJEF particularly emphasizes the publication of articles addressing the following themes:
• Studies aiming to improve the quality of education and educational practices at all levels of education,
• Studies that investigate educational problems encountered at all levels of education and provide suggestions for solving these problems,
• Studies related to educational sciences such as psychological services in education, career development, educational administration, program development in education, use of technology,
• Studies focusing on the problems of teacher education and on better quality education systems and practices,
• Studies focusing on the participation of stakeholders (family, community, health services, etc.) in education and training processes,
• Studies focusing on the development and use of measurement and evaluation tools used in education and training processes
• Multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies related to education.
Consistent with the aims and scope of EUJEF, papers accepted at EUJEF should include discussion of implications for practice in the field of education.
Out of Scope Studies
Studies that do not primarily center on education and educational sciences are excluded from the scope of publications by the EUJEF. Consequently, research conducted in fields other than education is not considered within the purview of EUJEF's evaluation process.
• Research studies that pertain to educational and training processes within a specific scientific field, but lack direct educational implications, fall outside the purview of the EUJEF. This includes investigations into historical events, mathematical theorems, artistic techniques, and sports-related subjects that do not offer insights or implications for educational practices.
• Studies that primarily examine changes or demographic characteristics within a particular subject area over time are also considered beyond the scope of EUJEF. This encompasses research focusing on descriptive attributes of studies within a specific subject area over a defined timeframe, as well as analyses of textbooks or curricula from a demographic standpoint. However, research that directly addresses the outlined objectives of EUJEF and provides educational-specific implications may be considered for publication.
• Research endeavors that solely collect demographic or categorical data (such as grade level, school type, department, gender) and derive demographic findings (e.g., score distributions for a variable, score changes based on gender or grade level) using basic statistical methods are included in this exclusion.
• Studies employing a quantitative methodology that predominantly analyze qualitative findings at a quantitative level (e.g., calculating frequencies and percentages), gather participant opinions on specific topics at a categorical level, or focus on generating metaphors related to a particular subject are also not within the scope of EUJEF.
• Furthermore, research studies specific to fields other than educational sciences, such as engineering education, accounting education, and nursing education, are considered outside the scope of EUJEF.
