JHES (Journal of the History of Educaiton Studies) is a journal based at Amasya University that publishes local, national, and international studies in the field of educational history. It accepts submissions covering all areas and levels of education, including institutional history, higher education history, adult education, the intellectual foundations of education, biographies of important educators, educational reforms, and the historical processes of educational policies, encompassing all periods from the past to the present in formal and non-formal education.
The target audience of JHES is all researchers working on educational history at national and international levels.
Submissions to JHES must have a similarity rate of less than 15% in the original text, excluding references. The journal adopts a "no format submission" principle. Authors can submit full-text articles in Turkish in any format or outline. If accepted for publication, submitted articles to the Journal of Educational History Studies must be prepared according to the American Psychological Association's (APA) 7th edition of the journal's article template, including the reference system, footnote formatting, and bibliography organization.
