He earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in economic theory from Istanbul University. The field of economic theory is the focus of study for both degrees. He completed his PhD program at Kyoto University's Department of Economics. His studies concentrate on the economies of East Asia, energy economics, financial economics, institutional economics, and input-output analysis. His primary research interests are in the institutional frameworks of global and financial economies. He was employed at a broad range of institutions, and his works were published in scholarly publications. At the present, he is working as an associate professor at the economics department of Firat University in Turkey. Moreover, he was a research fellow at the Faculty of Engineering in the Kyushu University.

1964 Malatya'da doğdum. İlk, Orta ve Lise tahsilimi Malatya'da, Üniversiteyi Kayseri Erciyes Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fak. 1985 yılında tamamladım. MEB de öğretmen olarak çalıştım. 1994 yılında Felsefe ve Din bilimlerinde (Dinler Tarihi) Yüksek Lisansımı, 1997 yılında Doktoramı tamamladım. 2004 yılında doçent, 2010 yılında da Dinler tarihi alanında Profesör olarak atandım.

Karaismailler Köyü İlkokulu’ndan 1975, Denizli Cumhuriyet Lisesi’nden 1981’de mezun oldum. 1985 yılında, Ankara Üniversitesi/Dil Ve Tarih Coğrafya Fakültesi/Coğrafya Bölümü/Fiziki Coğrafya ve Jeoloji lisans programından mezun oldum. Yüksek Lisansı Fırat Üniversitesi/Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü/Fiziki Coğrafya bilim alanında “Kovancılar Ovası ve yakın çevresinin genel ve uygulamalı jeomorfolojisi (1990)” konusunda yaptım. Doktora eğitimimi Fırat Üniversitesi/Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü/Fiziki Coğrafya bilim alanında “Örmeli (Şiro) Çayı havzasının genel ve uygulamalı jeomorfolojisi (1994)” konusunda tamamladım. Fırat Üniversitesi’nde 1987-1994 yılları arasında araştırma görevlisi, 1995-2000 yardımcı doçent, 2000-2002’de doçent, Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi’nde 2002-2006 doçent, 2006’dan itibaren profesör olarak çalışıyorum. Fiziki coğrafya, özellikle jeomorfoloji, tektonik, klimatoloji, arazi kullanımı ve jeomiras konularında çalışıyorum.

schools, who are vulnerable. The responsibilities were; preparing the project

He received his B.A. (Chemistry, 1997), M.Sc. (Archaeometry, 2000 - Phosphorous Analysis of Neolithic Çatalhöyük Sediments) and Ph.D. (Archaeometry, 2009 - Material Characterization of Ancient Mural Paintings and Related Base Materials: A Case Study of Roman Zeugma Archaeological Area) degrees from Middle East Technical University.
He became an instructor in the field of chemistry of restoration & conservation at Ankara University (2000-2013), Gazi University (2013-2018) and Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University (since 2018), where he directed the Historical Materials Research and Conservation Laboratory (MAKLAB). His academic studies are on archaeological material (clay/soil, stone/rock, ceramic, mortar/plaster/wall painting, glass, pigment/dye, etc.) analyses and their characterizations. He has worked as a researcher/archaeometrist or project group member of national (31 archaeological excavations and 5 field survey activities) and international (Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Kazakhistan, Macedonia, Pakistan, Romania, Serbia, Sudan, Syria and Turkmenistan) restoration and conservation projects since 1995. He has been involved in material analysis studies in the Survey Restitution and Restoration Project of over 1200 national/international historical monuments and areas. He also specialized in "museum education" and carried out projects with various museums and institutions/organizations. He is also specialized in the field of museum education.
He is the member of European Geosciences Union (EGU, 2011-2012), The International Committee for the Conservation of Mosaics (ICCM), International Council of Museum (ICOM, since 2012), Contemporary Drama Society (ÇDD, since 1999), Museum Association (since 2007), Museum Curators Association and Art Educators Society (SEDER, since 2011), Turkish Chemistry Society (since 2014), Ankara University Earth Science Application and Research Center (YEBIM, since 2009).
