She was born in Konya, Turkey in 1980. She completed primary and secondary education in Konya. She graduated from Ankara Cebeci Health College in 1997; she completed her bachelor’s degree in the Selcuk University School of Nursing in 2003; she completed a master of science in nursing (MSN) program at the Ege University Institute of Health Sciences Department of Internal Medicine Nursing with thesis whose title was “The Reliability and Validity of Turkish form of "The 24-Hour Migraine Quality of Life Questionnaire” in 2007. She completed a Ph.D. degree at the Ege University Institute of Health Sciences Department of Internal Medicine Nursing with a thesis whose title was “The effectiveness of secondary stroke prevention program based on King’s Theory of Goal Attainment” in 2018.
In 1998, she started to work as a public health nurse in Igdir. She worked as a critical care nurse at the Konya Numune Hospital in the neurosurgical intensive care unit between the years of 2000-2003. She worked as a critical care nurse at the Izmir Ataturk Training and Research Hospital in emergency service, neurological intensive care unit, and cardiac intensive care unit between the years 2003-2011. In 2011, she was appointed as an instructor at the Izmir Katip Celebi University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department, Department of Internal Medicine Nursing. In 2020, she was appointed as an assistant professor at the Selcuk University Aksehir Kadir Yallagoz School of Health Nursing Department. She still continues this duty as an assistant professor.
Research interests are internal medicine nursing, intensive care nursing, neurological nursing, cardiac nursing, and nephrological nursing.
