AIM and SCOPE

Humanistic Perspective is an international refereed journal that includes original studies, current approaches and researches in the field of psychology, sociology, educational sciences, and especially psychological counseling and guidance publishes research articles in Turkish and English, conference and symposium papers, case reports and review articles. The readers of Humanistic Perspective are researchers and practitioners who are interested in psychology, sociology and educational sciences, especially psychological counseling and guidance. Authors who will submit articles to our journal must comply with our Ethical Principles and Publication Policy, and Author Guidelines.

Humanistic Perspective is published tri-annual. ( February, June and October)

PUBLISHING LANGUAGE

Humanistic Perspective's publication language is Turkish and English.

PUBLISHING PRINCIPLES

Humanistic Perspective is an international peer-reviewed journal that includes original studies in the fields of psychology, sociology and educational sciences, in particular psychological counseling and guidance.

The articles to be submitted to the Humanistic Perspective must be of scientific nature and have not been published before.

Humanistic Perspective publishes research articles in Turkish and English, conference and symposium papers, case reports and review articles.

The scientific and legal responsibility of the articles published in the Humanistic Perspective belongs to the authors.

The opinions in the articles submitted to Humanistic Perspective are the personal opinions of the authors and do not reflect the views of the journal and its affiliated institutions..

REFEREE AND EVALUATION PROCESS

The articles submitted to the Humanistic Perspective go through the Pre-Review, Review and Edit stages.

The articles submitted for publishing in the Humanistic Perspective are checked at the Pre-Review stage in terms of the structure and form characteristics specified on our Writing Rules (Author Guidelines) page. As a result of this Pre-Review, some changes may be requested from the author or the article is completely rejected.

The Humanistic Perspective sends the articles that pass the Pre-Review stage on the grounds that they have the characteristics of structure and form, to 3 referees according to their field of expertise. In this process, which is called the Review  process (Referee evaluation), the article submitted by the blind refereeing system, in which the author and the referee's information is kept confidential, is evaluated by the referees. Referees cannot be employed by the institution where the authors work and are therefore independent. Upon the positive opinion of two of the three referees, the article is taken to the Preparation of the publication (Edit). Preparing for publication is the last time that the article is read and checked.

In the studies submitted to the Humanistic Perspective, the authors are deemed to have accepted the 3 stage evaluation process of the Humanistic Perspective.

The author (s) submitting an article to the Humanistic Perspective take into account the criticism and suggestions of the Referee and Editorial Board. If they do not participate, they have the right to appeal together with their reasons. In the process of refereeing in the journal, only people with equal or higher academic titles can be referees for publications of academic title.

LICENSING AND COPYRIGHT

Humanistic Perspective is Open Access and uses CC BY-NC 4.0 license. The copyrights and publication rights of the author(s) who sent their articles to our journal are reserved. Authors have to fill in the Copyright Agreement Form while submitting their articles to our journal.

PLAGIARISM

Articles submitted to the Humanistic Perspective should be prepared in accordance with the ethical rules and the citations in the text should be indicated. After the peer review process, the articles submitted to our journal are evaluated in Turnitin program in order to prevent plagiarism before publication. If any article published in our journal is found to be infringing on someone else's intellectual property for a possible reason, the article is retraction from the journal and the author is expected to make the necessary explanation. Necessary corrections will be made in the next issue. In this whole process, Humanistic Perspective editorship makes the necessary scientific advocacy.

The upper limit of the similarity rate of our journal is 20%.
