Aim & Scope
International Journal of Agriculture and Wildlife Science (IJAWS), Horticulture, Plant Protection, Biosystem Engineering (Agricultural Structures and Irrigation, Agriculture Machinery and Technologies Engineering), Poultry Farming, Agricultural Economics, Field Crops, Agricultural Biotechnology, Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, Wildlife Ecology and Management and Animal Science fields; the original articles created out of the studies which are carried out upon all agricultural fields and their compilation of up-to-date subjects are published as well.
International Agriculture and Wildlife Sciences Journal is published in June and December as two volumes. It publishes the original research articles done in agriculture and wildlife science areas or the writings in form of compilations that explain the scientific and technological methods and improvements. The responsible writer must upload the cover letter which includes the topic and the scope and declares that the article hasnot been issued before during the application into the system.
Author Guidelines
1. Articles submitted for publication in our journal should be prepared according to the journal writing rules. The study which are not in accordance with the writing rules will be returned to the authors and will not be accepted for peer-review. WRITING RULES AND TEMPLATE HERE.
2. Each study must use MS Word 2007 version or higher version using the A4 in the paper. The article should be listed as Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), References.
3. The authors can benefit from the issued articles on the website of the journal while preparing their own. The section titles must be written in upper case and bold and not numbered. Only the initial letters of subtitles need to be written in upper case. All pages and lines need to be numbered. Writing rules of Turkish Language Institution must be taken into consideration and a gap must be given after Turkish punctuation marks. If an abbreviation is to be used,the concept must be clearly explained where it is used and short form need to given in parantesis (live weight rise (LWR) as). The indent of all paragraphs must be 0.5.
4. SI should be used presented in the Journal article (Systeme International d'Units) units of measurement. Decimal fractions should be used as a point (eg 5.42 instead of 5,42). Units "/" should not be used and should be a space between units (kg m-3 instead of kg/m3, as m h-1 instead of m/h). A space should be left between the symbol and number (such as 155 kg m-3, 11%). Exceptions to this rule are degree angles used for the symbols in minutes and seconds (°, ′ and ′′). They should be placed immediately after the number (10°, 45′, 60′′, etc.). If they are not at the end of the sentence, a point should be placed to the end of the symbols (kg. not, kg).
5. Journal writing rules are
also print format. Therefore, the rules of writing should be prepared carefully
by the authors. Articles that do not comply with the writing rules will be sent
back to the author(s).
Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Uluslararası Tarım ve Yaban Hayatı Bilimleri Dergisi’nin yayım süreci etik ilkeler çerçevesinde gerçekleşmektedir. Süreç içerisinde yer alan prosedürler çalışmaların kalitesini desteklemektedir. Bu sebepten dolayı süreç içerisinde yer alan tüm paydaşların etik standartlarına uyması büyük önem taşımaktadır.
Uluslararası Tarım ve Yaban Hayatı Bilimleri Dergisi okuyucularından, yazarlarından, hakemlerinden ve editörlerinden etik sorumluluk üstlenmelerini beklemektedir.
Uluslararası Tarım ve Yaban Hayatı Bilimleri Dergisi’ne gelen çalışmalardan ve çalışmaların yayım süreçlerinde beklenen etik kodlar Yayın Etiği Komitesi (Committee on Publication Ethics-COPE) tarafından hazırlanan rehber ve politikalar ışığında aşağıda belirtilmiştir (Detaylı bilgi için COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors).

- Çalışmalar özgün, başka yerde yayınlanmamış ve bilimsel araştırma ve yayın etiğine uygun olmalıdır.
- Yazarlar yazar talimatlarını okuduğunu ve anladığını teyit etmelidir.
- Çalışmaya tüm yazarların katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.
- Makalede geçen tüm veriler gerçek ve orijinal olmalıdır.
- Makalenin etik kurul onayı gerektirip gerektirmediği yazarların sorumluluğundadır. Etik kurul onayı materyal ve yöntem ile makale sonunda kısmında belirtilmelidir.
Hakemler için Etik İlkeler
- Yorumlar objektif olarak yapılmalıdır.
- Yazarın kişisel eleştirisi uygun değildir.
- Hakemler gerektiğinde destekleyici tartışmalar ve referanslarla görüşlerini açıkça ifade etmelidir. Ancak karalayıcı veya iftiralı olmamalıdır.
- Hakemler rekabet eden çıkarları beyan etmelidir.
- Hakemler, aşağıdakilerden kaynaklanan çıkar çatışmaları bulunan makaleleri incelemeyi reddetmelidir (yazarlardan, şirketlerden herhangi biriyle rekabetçi, işbirliğine dayalı veya diğer ilişkiler veya bağlantılar veya gazetelere bağlı kurumlar.)
- Hakemler kendilerine verilen materyallerin gizliliğine saygı göstermeli ve yayınlanmamış makaleleri meslektaşlarıyla tartışmamalı veya bilgileri kendi çalışmalarında kullanmamalıdır.
- Bir hakem bir meslektaşına inceleme talebi iletmek istiyorsa, önceden editörün iznini almalıdır.
- Hakemler tarafsız olmalıdır.
Editörler için Etik İlkeler
- Yazı bağımsızlığı sağlanmalıdır. Editoryal kararlar politik, finansal veya kişisel etkilerinden ziyade, çalışmaların kalitesine ve uygun hakem değerlendirmesine dayanmalıdır.
- Editörler hakemlere her türlü bilgi için rehberlik etmekle yükümlüdür. Bu bilgi paylaşımı COPE ilkelerine göre olmalıdır.
- Editörler, dergileri / çalışma alanları ve kaynakları / için uygun bir hakemlik süreci benimsemelidir.
- Editörlerin kendi dergilerinde yayın yapabilmeleri reddedilmemeli, ancak konumlarından yararlanmamalıdırlar. Dergi prosedürüne göre ilerlenmelidir.
- Her zaman editoryal bağımsızlık ilkesi benimsenmelidir.
Price Policy
Uluslararası Tarım ve Yaban Hayatı Bilimleri Dergisi' ne yayımlanmak üzere gönderilen makalelerden işleme ve yayın ücreti talep edilmemektedir.

I am working as an Associate Professor of plant biotechnology at Mersin University, Türkiye. I received my Ph.D. with a dissertation on ‘Identification of Genomic Regions for Various Agronomic Traits in Turkish Common Bean Germplasm with Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS)’ from the Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agricultural and Natural Science, Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, Bolu-Türkiye in 2019. I joined Sivas University of Science and Technology as an Assistant Professor in 2020 and received an Associate Professorship on 27/01/2023. I joined Mersin University in 2025. I am involved in various projects, such as ERA-NET SusCrop, COST-Action, 1001, 1003, and 1007. Moreover, I am also involved in various university-funded projects (BAPs). I have great skills and expertise in crop science, plant genomics, the use of next-generation sequencing, DNA molecular markers for germplasm characterization, identification of genomic regions for traits of agricultural interest, and development and validation of molecular markers for marker-assisted selection, particularly in cereals and legumes. I am supervising three PhD and one master's student. I have graduated three master's students and 1 co-supervised PhD student. I have more than 80 SCI/SCIE publications, more than 10 book chapters, and more than 3500 citations as per Google Scholar. I edited four books with Springer as well. I am serving as an Editorial board member of BMC Plant Biology, BMC Genomic Data, BMC Research Notes, Molecular Biology Reports, Genetic Resources and Crop Evolution, and Pakistan Journal of Botany. Similarly, I served as a guest editor of special issues in Plants-Basel, Agriculture-MDPI, and Molecular Biology Reports journal. For two consecutive years (2023 and 2024), I have been recognized as one of the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University (California, USA) and Elsevier
