Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effects of environmental corporate social responsibility
and person-organization fit on environmental commitment. The population of the research consists of
564,323 people working in the logistics sector in Turkey. Data was obtained through an online survey. Therefore, the sample of the research consists of 421 people selected from these employees. Frequency,
exploratory factor, reliability, normality, correlation, regression analysis were performed. As a
result of the correlation analysis, it was determined that there was a significant relationship between
environmental corporate social responsibility and person-organization fit, a significant relationship
between environmental corporate social responsibility and environmental commitment, and a significant
relationship between person-organization fit and environmental commitment. When the regression
analysis results were examined, it was determined that environmental corporate social responsibility
and person-organization fit significantly affected environmental commitment. According to regression,
environmental corporate social responsibility affected environmental commitment more than personorganization
fit. Therefore, recommendations will be presented that emphasize the importance of both
environmental corporate social responsibility and the fit of person-organization in this organization.
This research is considered to be original since there is no research example in the literature addressing
the impact of environmental corporate social responsibility and person-organization environmental
commitment.
