Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Turkish Language Teaching as a Foreign Language has published all articles under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license since its inception. This license means that all content is freely available to users or institutions at no cost. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or author. This complies with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. The International Journal of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language has added its name to the BOAI.

The LOCKSS system has permission to collect, store, and serve this open access Archive Unit.


“Open Access” is a term that encompasses both Free and Libre Open Access. ‘Gratis’ open access means free online access, while “libre” open access means free online access and certain usage rights.

The International Journal of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language publishes scientific research and provides this research free of charge, embracing the principle that providing information free of charge will increase global sharing and adopting an open access policy. Furthermore, it provides immediate open access to its content.

The journal is open access, and all of its content is provided free of charge to the reader or the reader's institution. Readers may read, download, copy, search, and link to the full text of journal articles without permission from the publisher or author and for non-commercial purposes. They may also re-edit them, provided they are properly cited in accordance with the original work.

Private information held in the management system of the International Journal of Turkish Language Teaching as a Foreign Language will not be shared with any third party and will only be used for the scientific purposes of this journal.
