Data Sharing Policy

The International Journal of Politics and Security (IJPS) encourages authors to make the data underlying their research findings available in accordance with principles of scientific transparency, research ethics, and proper citation practices. Authors are encouraged to share data through recognized repositories where possible, in line with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (2001).

At the same time, IJPS recognizes that data sharing may be subject to ethical, legal, security, or confidentiality constraints, particularly in research involving human subjects, sensitive political or security-related information, or personal data. In such cases, authors are required to clearly state the conditions under which the data can or cannot be shared.

All submissions should include a Data Availability Statement indicating whether the data supporting the findings of the study are publicly available, available upon reasonable request, or not available due to ethical or legal restrictions.
