As the Journal of Islamic Civilization Studies, we apply a double blind review system. In order to check whether the submitted manuscripts contribute to the field, we select the reviewers according to their expertise in the subject. In this context, we expect sensitivity from our valuable reviewers as stated below:
- Please do not accept the invitation if the subject of the submitted work is not within your field of expertise.
- Please evaluate the manuscript not only in terms of spelling and punctuation mistakes, but also in terms of the issues specified in the evaluation form. In this context, whether the study will contribute to the field can be mentioned among the most important items.
- Since we expect our reviewers to make their evaluation meticulously, we allow 30 days for the first submission, but we can extend the evaluation period of the reviewer if necessary.
- We take the necessary precautions, but if you learn the identity of the author due to a mistake or any other reason, please stop the evaluation and return the manuscript to us.
- Reject the manuscript if you think that it does not meet the requirements for a research article or does not contribute to the field.
- If you find an error in the manuscript, if you think the editing needs to be changed, or if a major revision is required, you should propose a major revision.
- If you propose corrections other than the changes mentioned in the previous item, you should propose a minor revision.
- If you want to see the manuscript again after the revisions, you should propose a major revision.
- In order not to undermine the practice of blind reviewing, do not recommend your own work to the author unless it is essential.
