Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Kaya Yaşar is a faculty member in the Department of International Trade and Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Istanbul Kültür University. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University, completed her master’s degree at Kadir Has University, and earned her Ph.D. in Management and Organization from Marmara University . Throughout her academic career, she has specialized in management and organization studies and currently holds the title of Professor. She was also a visiting researcher at Youngstown State University (USA) in 2010, where she participated in international academic research projects .

Her research interests mainly focus on organizational theories, organizational ecology, and organizational behavior. She has conducted studies on topics such as organizational silence, locus of control, and the effects of institutional changes on organizational populations, and has published books and book chapters in the field of management and organizational ecology . In addition to her academic work, she also has experience in managerial and advisory roles within non-governmental organizations.
