Article Submission Process
Journal of Research in Economics publishes research papers on applied econometrics and economic modeling. The manuscripts prepared for publication should be submitted using DergiPark platform. All processes, including peer review, will be managed through DergiPark.
The submitted manuscript should be the original work of the author(s) that has not been published elsewhere or submitted for publication.
All manuscripts submitted to JORE are checked by the plagiarism detection program Turnitin. Editorial Board reserves the right to reject the manuscripts above 20% of similarity as specified in the Plagiarism Policy.
Manuscripts that pass the similarity check are subject to a preliminary evaluation by the Editor according to the conditions specified in the Publication Policy.
Authors are expected to revise all the points depicted by the Editor during the preliminary review process within 30 days of submission. Otherwise, the Editorial Board reserves the right to reject the manuscript.
The authors are regularly informed about the process on their manuscript. Submitted manuscripts are sent to two referees specialized in the relevant field (double blind review process). In case of unclarity regarding the quality of the manuscript, the Editorial Board reserves the right to apply to the view of a third referee. The feedbacks from referees are received at least 8 weeks of submission.
Accepted manuscripts are published in the following issue. Manuscripts that cannot catch the relevant issue continue to be evaluated for the upcoming issue.
