JOTMAR has adopted the Continuous Publication Model as of 1 January 2026. The continuous publication model is based on the principle of publishing articles promptly and up-to-date once they have successfully completed the peer-review process and been accepted, without waiting for the completion of an issue. Within this model, published articles are presented with consecutive page numbering within the relevant volume. Through this publication model, the journal aims to ensure the faster dissemination of scientific knowledge and to strengthen academic communication.

The journal, which publishes in Turkish but also includes articles in English, can include all kinds of original academic studies within its scope; Research articles, Review articles, Evaluations, Translations, Interviews, Opinions and Book Reviews. No processing fee or publication fee is charged for articles sent to the journal.

The Journal of Transportation Management Research provides a platform for academics and industry representatives to explore, analyze, and stay informed about current topics related to all modes of transportation, developments, innovations, and practices. It aims to contribute to both national and international literature by publishing original and scientifically grounded articles, advancing studies in the field. It is a multidisciplinary journal committed to promoting the development of transportation management.
 

The Journal of Transportation Management Research creates an area for scholars and researchers in the field to submit papers, research studies, case analyses, and review articles that contribute to the development of transportation management. Research conducted in any area of transportation management is accepted for evaluation. The journal publishes studies related to topics such as business, management, economics, finance, marketing, logistics, and more, while implementing a double-blind peer review process.
