Evaluation and Publication Process (English)
Kare International Journal of Comparative Literature (KARE) publishes original research and review articles, compilation articles, case reports, project presentations, book reviews, interviews, and translations of original articles, provided that they are in article format.
1. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are subjected to a preliminary check by the journal editorial board (for compliance with the journal's writing rules, scientificity and plagiarism). At this stage, articles may be rejected by the editorial board or revisions may be requested.
2. The editor sends the article to the field editor.
3. The field editor examines the article and forwards it to two expert referees for evaluation. Double blind review process is operated in our journal.
4. Review evaluations are made. Reviews are evaluated by the referees in areas such as journal writing rules, scientific quality, contribution to national/universal science. The manuscript files containing the evaluation and corrections, if any, are forwarded by the field editor between the referee and the author. Reviewers can decide on major, minor corrections or acceptance. They may request to see the manuscript again if they want to make corrections.
5. If the review process is completed positively, the field editor forwards the article to the editor or issue editor. The editor makes a decision about the publication process in accordance with the review recommendations.
6. The article is sent back to the author together with the review reports.
7. The editor checks the revised author file and sends the article to the proofreader, and if there are any necessary corrections, they are requested from the author. The finished articles are sent to the layout editor for the printing process.
8. The editor accepts the article that successfully completes the above processes for publication.
9. The new issue is published after the other articles are processed.
10. The process can take 1-3 months on average. Depending on the corrections needed, the publication process may vary for each article.
