Karadeniz International Scientific Journal has been an international peer-reviewed journal published quarterly, both in print and electronic formats, since 2009. The journal publishes four issues per year, in March, June, September, and December.
The journal accepts manuscripts written in Turkish, English, or Russian.
Karadeniz International Scientific Journal is an open-access journal, and all articles can be downloaded مجانا (free of charge) from its website.
As of 2026, an important update has been made to the journal’s publication model. In this context, the journal has discontinued its print edition and transitioned entirely to a digital publishing model. All new issues will be published exclusively in digital format. Previously published print issues will continue to be available free of charge through the journal’s digital archive.
Along with this transition, the journal’s author guidelines and publication standards have been updated. The journal has adopted the APA 7 citation style, replacing the previously used APA 6 format. In addition, all editorial boards, including the Editor-in-Chief, have been restructured.
