Kahramanmaraş Istiklal University (KIU) Journal of Psychology is a journal published to contribute to original scientific research in the field of mental health. In the journal, it is aimed to publish the most up-to-date researches and review studies on all sub-fields of psychology. KIU Journal of Psychology is a peer-reviewed academic journal that includes original research in Turkish and English languages in the fields of psychology, psychological counseling and guidance, psychiatry, child psychiatry, social work, psychiatric nursing, child development, preschool education and special education. The responsibility for the published articles belongs entirely to the author(s).
KIU Journal of Psychology aims to contribute to scientific and social development by bringing together original and qualified studies in the field of psychology. It has adopted being among the reputable international journals in its field as a vision. While realizing this vision, KIU Journal of Psychology has adopted the basic principle of working meticulously from the first submission of articles to the printing stage, following a transparent and honest publication policy, and acting in accordance with scientific ethics and values.
KIU Journal of Psychology is published at regular intervals twice a year. Articles submitted to the journal must not have been previously published elsewhere or submitted for publication. In order for the articles to be published, the author(s) must fill out and sign the Copyright Transfer Form and upload it as an attachment file to the system. In addition, the plagiarism report should be added to the system.
