The Kırıkkale University Journal of Education (KUJE) is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal that adopts national and international academic publishing standards in all published manuscripts. In order for a submission to be considered for the review process, the manuscript must fully comply with the journal’s formal, structural, and ethical writing requirements. Authors are therefore required to carefully examine and strictly follow the Article Template and Author Guidelines provided by the journal when preparing their manuscripts.
All submissions to KUJE undergo a preliminary technical and formatting review prior to the peer-review process. At this stage, manuscripts are examined in terms of font type, font size, line spacing, paragraph formatting, heading structure, table and figure layout, abstract format, and keyword requirements. The journal requires the use of Times New Roman throughout the manuscript, and authors are expected to adhere to the specified standards for font size, alignment, spacing, and heading levels in order to ensure consistency across published articles.
All in-text citations and reference lists must be prepared in accordance with the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition guidelines. Authors should ensure that all citation types—including multiple-author works, multiple publications by the same author, institutional authors, indirect citations, and direct quotations—comply with APA 7 standards. Only sources cited in the text should be included in the reference list, which must be arranged alphabetically by authors’ surnames using a hanging indent format.
To ensure academic coherence and clarity, manuscripts are expected to be structured around the main sections of Introduction, Method, Results, Conclusion–Discussion–Recommendations, and References. Abstracts in both Turkish and English must be prepared within the specified word limits and should clearly present the purpose, methodology, and main findings of the study. Tables, figures, and visual materials included in the manuscript must be formatted according to APA 7 guidelines, appropriately numbered and titled, and designed to be suitable for black-and-white printing.
This document provides a general overview of KUJE’s author guidelines; however, all detailed formatting and structural requirements are specified in the official article template. Authors’ adherence to these standards is essential for ensuring a smooth review process and maintaining the academic quality and consistency of the journal.

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in line with the reviewer feedback and resubmit them through the system. Multiple rounds of revision may be requested when necessary.
The final decision on the publication of a manuscript is made by the editors and the editorial board, based on the reviewers’ evaluations. Accepted manuscripts are sent to the authors for final proofreading before publication.
