BİLİM KURGU FİLMLERİNİN FEN BİLGİSİ ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ BİLİMSEL OKURYAZARLIKLARINA VE BİLİME YÖNELİK TUTUMLARINA ETKİSİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 20 fen bilgisi öğretmen adayına üç ayrı bilim kurgu filmi izletilerek filmlerin bilimsel okuryazarlığa ve bilime yönelik tutuma etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Biri bilimsel okuryazarlığı diğeri ise bilime yönelik tutumu ele alan 2 alt problemi olan bu çalışmanın ana problemi “bilim kurgu filmlerin fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının bilimsel okuryazarlıklarına ve bilime yönelik tutumlarına etkisi var mıdır?” şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemine başvurulmuş ve deneysel desenlerden biri olan “tek grup öntest-sontest yarı deneysel desen” kullanılmıştır. Bu desene bağlı olarak çalışmada, nicel ve nitel veriler birlikte toplanıp analizler ayrı ayrı yapılmıştır. 5 hafta süren veri toplama sürecinde veriler araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kavram testleri ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen nicel veriler “ilişkili örneklemler için t-testi” ile nitel veriler ise “içerik analizi” ile çözümlenerek alt problemlere yanıt verebilecek bulgulara dönüştürülmüştür. Alanyazındaki çalışmalar ışığında yorumlanan bulgulardan bilim kurgu filmlerin fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının bilimsel okuryazarlıkları ve bilime yönelik tutumları üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
