Abstract
The main purpose of this search is to compare the finance of education among
Turkey and the fifteen countries of European Union. According to the main purpose it is
aimed to expose the share amount of educaton which is transfered from the national gross
production of the countries and public expenses, and also to find out the amounts of
current and capital expenses and the participation of the private enterprises to the share
amount. Finally it is figured out that Turkey isn’t better than any European Union Country
at any expense item.

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın ana amacını 15 Avrupa Birliği Ülkesi ile Türkiye’de eğitimin finansmanının karşılaştırılması oluşturmaktadır. Bu ana amaca bağlı olarak ülkelerin Gayri Safi Millî Hasılalarından ve kamu harcamaları içerisinden eğitime ayırdıkları payların miktarı, yine carî ve kapital harcamaların miktarları ile bu harcamalara özel sektörün katkılarının ne kadar olduğu da ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda Türkiye’nin tüm harcama kalemlerinde Avrupa Birliği Ülkelerinin altında olduğu gözlenmiştir.
