Dr. Zeynel Amaç is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Primary Education at the Faculty of Education, Kilis 7 Aralık University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education from Pamukkale University in 1994 and began his teaching career the same year in Arsin, Trabzon. Between 1994 and 2000, he served as a classroom teacher in primary schools affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of National Education. Dr. Amaç completed his M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2002 and earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Dicle University in 2023. His research interests include curriculum development, teacher education, refugee education, and inclusive education. He has published several articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

Sadık DURAN received his B.A. in Turkish Language Teaching from Yüzüncü Yıl University in 2002 and his M.A. in the same field from Marmara University’s Institute of Educational Sciences in 2006. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the same institution. After serving as a Turkish language teacher for the Ministry of National Education in 2002, he embarked on his academic career in 2003 as a Research Assistant at Gaziantep University, later continuing this role at Marmara University from 2003 to 2016. He currently holds a faculty position in the Department of Turkish Education at Kilis 7 Aralık University, Kilisli Muallim Rıfat Faculty of Education. His scholarly work focuses on teaching Turkish as a foreign language, textbook development, writing pedagogy, and cultural transmission.
Dr. Hüseyin Akar completed his undergraduate education at İnönü University in 2006. In 2007, he began his master’s degree in the Department of Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning, and Economics at the Institute of Social Sciences at Fırat University, and he completed his master’s degree in 2010. In the same year, he started his doctoral studies in the Department of Educational Administration and Supervision at the Institute of Educational Sciences at İnönü University and earned his Ph.D. in 2017. During and following his academic studies, he worked for seven years (2006–2013) as a teacher and administrator in public schools affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of National Education. In 2013, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Educational Sciences at the Muallim Rıfat Faculty of Education, Kilis 7 Aralık University, where he served until 2018. In 2018, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor (Dr. Faculty Member) in the Department of Educational Administration at the same university. After serving in this position for approximately two and a half years, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in March 2021 following an evaluation by the Interuniversity Council of Turkey. He currently continues to serve as an Associate Professor of Educational Administration at the same university. Dr. Akar has published nearly 40 articles in national and international indexed journals, presented 29 papers at national and international conferences, and authored six book chapters. He has also taken part in one international research project. He has taught various undergraduate and graduate courses and supervised master’s theses. His research interests include organizational behavior, instructional technologies, teachers’ unions, teacher education, and social entrepreneurship. In addition to his academic work, he enjoys reading books on history, geography, archaeology, anthropology, economics, popular science, education, and philosophy. He is married and the father of two sons.

Professor at the Faculty of Education, Department of Teaching and School Organization, University of Murcia (Spain). She is an active researcher in the field of school effectiveness and school improvement. Her areas of expertise are educational leadership, inclusion and professional learning networks. She is a regular contributor at international conferences (such as ECER, AERA and ICSEI) and an international affiliate of the Centre for International Research into Leadership in Education (CIRLE).
Kilis doğumludur. Kartal Bey İlkokulu, Kilis Ortaokulu ve Kilis Öğretmen Lisesi’ni bitirdikten sonra Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. 1992-93 eğitim-öğretim yılında bir özel okulda öğretmenlik yaptı. 1993 yılından sonra Marmara Üniversitesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nde araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladı. Sınıf Öğretmenliği Programı’nda “İlkokulda Hayat Bilgisi Dersinin Etkililiği” başlıklı çalışması ile yüksek lisansını tamamladı. “İlköğretim Sosyal Bilgiler Dersinde Öğretmen Tutumlarının Problem Çözmeye Etkileri” konulu çalışma ile de doktorasını aynı üniversitenin Eğitim Bilimleri Eğitimi alanında, 2013 yılında doçentliğini ise Sınıf Öğretmenliği alanında aldı.
Z. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yakup Alan has specialized in Turkish language teaching.
Between 2009 and 2013, he completed his bachelor's degree in Turkish Language Teaching at Erzincan University, Faculty of Education. Between 2015 and 2017, he completed his master's degree in Turkish Language Education at Erzincan University/Institute of Social Sciences. Between 2017 and 2023, he completed his doctoral studies in Turkish Education at Erciyes University/Institute of Educational Sciences. Kılıç plays an active role in teaching Turkish as a foreign/second language and has conducted various academic studies on the subject. His academic work focuses particularly on language education, children's literature, reading culture, and teacher training processes.

Sevil Gurbanova is an Associate Professor and PhD holder with over 20 years of experience in English language teaching and more than 15 years of experience in teacher training. Her academic and professional expertise lies in multilingual education, curriculum design, academic writing and reading, and innovative approaches to English language teaching.
She currently serves as the Head of the Department of Languages at Baku Business University, where she oversees academic planning, curriculum development, and quality assurance processes. In this role, she manages a team of 39 instructors and actively contributes to the development of new elective courses, particularly in translation and academic writing, tailored to students’ needs.
Prior to this, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Azerbaijan University of Languages in the Department of English Language Methodology. During her tenure, she taught both undergraduate and graduate courses, including Academic Writing and Reading, Innovations in Teaching, Critical Reading, and ICT in English Language Teaching. She also worked as a Senior Specialist at the Academic Writing and Reading Center, where she was responsible for designing training programs, organizing workshops, and promoting academic literacy among students and faculty.
In addition, Sevil Gurbanova has been actively engaged as a Teacher Trainer with the British Council Azerbaijan for many years, delivering professional development programs for English language teachers. Her training focuses on modern pedagogy, communicative teaching methodologies, and effective classroom practices. She has also contributed to the SABAH Groups Project under the Ministry of Education and Science, supporting the implementation of innovative teaching methods in higher education.
Sevil Gurbanova completed her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees at Azerbaijan University of Languages, specializing in English Philology, Language Studies, and German Studies respectively. She is currently pursuing further doctoral-level research.
She has participated in numerous international and national professional development programs and conferences. Among her notable achievements are the CELTA (Pass B) certification, Microsoft Certified Educator certification, and participation in major international events such as those organized by IATEFL and Oxford Professional Development Conferences.
