Lokman Hekim Journal  has published scientific studies on the socio-cultural dimensions of medicine and health, especially on the history of medicine and ethics, folklore, health sociology, folkloric medicine practices. It aims to contribute to the increase of qualified scientific knowledge in the literature by publishing scientific studies on the subject.

Published via internet for three times a year (January, May, September).Authors publishing with the journal retain copyright to their work licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC 4.0) and grant the Publisher a non-exclusive commercial right to publish the work. The CC BY-NC 4.0 license permits unrestricted, non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that proper attribution is made to the original work.
