Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Journal of the Faculty of Education

Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Journal of the Faculty of Education (NOHU-JE) is an open-access, free, and internationally peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Education at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University that employs a double-blind peer-review process.

NOHU-JE publishes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, bibliometric studies, and theoretical studies in the field of educational sciences. The journal does not charge authors any submission, review, or publication fees at any stage of the publication process, and free access to all content is provided through the DergiPark system.

NOHU-JE is published electronically twice a year, in June and December. The journal’s languages of publication are Turkish and English; articles written in Turkish must include an English abstract and an extended English abstract.

The journal covers the following fields: Educational Administration and Leadership, Teacher Education, Educational Programs and Instruction, Measurement and Evaluation, Educational Psychology, Sociology of Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Special Education, Elementary Education, Mathematics and Science Education, Foreign Language Education, Turkish and Social Studies Education, Fine Arts Education, Comparative Education, Educational Policies, Digital Education, and Artificial Intelligence in Education.

Articles published in NOHU-JE undergo a process that includes preliminary review, similarity check, editorial evaluation, double-blind peer review, and final proofreading before publication. The journal aims to provide high-quality scientific information to researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in the field of educational sciences.

To enhance the journal’s national and international academic visibility, efforts are underway to have it indexed in various subject-specific databases; the medium-term goal is to secure inclusion in national and international indexes, particularly TR Dizin and DOAJ.
