Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Journal of Education (NOHU Journal of Education – NOHU-JE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, and free-of-charge scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Education at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. The journal employs a double-blind peer-review process.

NOHU-JE publishes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, bibliometric studies, and theoretical studies in the field of education. The journal does not charge authors any submission, evaluation, processing, or publication fees at any stage of the publication process. All published content is freely and openly accessible through the DergiPark platform.

NOHU-JE follows a Continuous Publication model. Articles that have successfully completed the peer-review and editorial processes and have been accepted for publication are published online in the active issue as soon as copyediting, typesetting, and final checks have been completed, without waiting for a predetermined issue publication date. The date on which an article is published online is considered its official publication date.

The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English. Articles published in Turkish are required to include an abstract and an extended abstract in English.

The journal welcomes scholarly contributions in the areas of Educational Administration and Leadership, Teacher Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Measurement and Evaluation, Educational Psychology, Sociology of Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Special Education, Primary Education, Mathematics and Science Education, Foreign Language Education, Turkish Language and Social Studies Education, Fine Arts Education, Comparative Education, Educational Policy, Digital Education, and Artificial Intelligence in Education.

Manuscripts submitted to NOHU-JE undergo preliminary screening, similarity checking, editorial evaluation, and double-blind peer review. Manuscripts accepted for publication are published following the completion of final checks and production procedures. The journal aims to promote the national and international dissemination of high-quality and original scholarly knowledge in education and to facilitate the exchange of research-based knowledge among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.

NOHU-JE commenced publication in 2026. Efforts are underway to enhance the journal’s national and international academic visibility and inclusion in relevant scholarly indexes and databases, with the aim of being indexed in national and international databases, particularly TR Dizin and DOAJ.
