“Special issue: Arctic Region”
The Arctic region is home to 4 million people in eight countries: the United States of America (USA), Canada, Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Russian Federation (Russia). The distinction between the Arctic, where the effects of global warming are most visible, and the rest of the world is disappearing as glaciers melt rapidly. The geopolitical situation and the energy and trade potential of the region, which is increasingly moving into the focus and onto the agenda of the world public, is prompting many global actors, especially the countries in the region, to turn their attention to this region.
As the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Gümüşhane University, it is planned to publish a special issue “Arctic Region” as part of “Paradigma: Journal of Economics and Management Research”. This special issue aims to examine and evaluate the multiple aspects of the Arctic, in the context of political security, economic security, military security, environmental and geopolitical changes, and all issues related to economics and management sciences.
2) The studies to be submitted for the special issue must be according to the publication principles and writing rules of Paradigma: Journal of Economics and Management Research. Studies not prepared within this framework will not be evaluated.
3) When uploading the studies submitted for the special issue to the system, the button “I would like to submit my article to the special issue” must be clicked.
4) Whether the submitted studies are accepted or not depends on the decision of the editorial board and the positive outcome of the reviewer evaluation processes.
