Aim & Scope

While Pamukkale University adopts the mission of engaging in research and development activities suited to the requirements of the age, guided by universal and national values, its vision is to become an international university that directs scientific developments, is innovative, generates value, and prioritizes excellence. In light of the University's vision and mission, the Pamukkale University Journal of Social Sciences Institute (PAUSBED) aims to foster interaction both among field experts and between science and society by publishing high-quality studies related to the fields of social sciences.

The Pamukkale University Journal of Social Sciences Institute (PAUSBED) is an academic publication featuring high-quality studies related to the fields of social sciences. PAUSBED commenced its publication life with two issues published in 1998. The journal began to demonstrate continuity after 2008, was published as three issues per year until 2017, and has been published as an E-journal since 2017.

After 2018, PAUSBED decided to be published four times a year in January, April, July, and October. As of 2021, the frequency was increased to six issues per year, and the journal is currently published in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

PAUSBED is an international peer-reviewed journal published electronically. The publication languages of PAUSBED are Turkish, English, and French. For studies in Turkish, the "Spelling Guide" published by the Turkish Language Association is taken as the basis, while for manuscripts in foreign languages, the grammar rules of those respective languages are followed.
