Aim & Scope

Pamukkale University Journal of Business Research (PIAR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes original theoretical and empirical studies in the fields of business administration, economics, and other social sciences. The primary aim of the journal is to provide a multidisciplinary platform that brings together high-quality research contributing both to the academic literature and to business practice, and to disseminate these studies to scholars and practitioners.

PIAR seeks to ensure that research conducted at both national and international levels reaches a broad audience within the framework of open access, while also fostering interdisciplinary dialogue. The journal is published biannually, in June and December.

PIAR covers empirical, theoretical, comparative, and applied studies conducted not only in business and management but also in other social science disciplines. The journal publishes original research articles employing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches, as well as systematic reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, and theoretical papers.

Review Principles
