Sakarya University Journal of Women's Studies (SAUJWS) is published within the Women's Studies Application and Research Center. The main purpose of SAUJWS is to include conceptual, empirical, and methodological studies that will produce a new paradigm for current debates on gender-based equality and justice, especially on women, family, and children thus criticizing the hegemonic concepts, theories, and methods developed due to Eurocentrism.
📌SAUJWS is a national peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year (June-December). SAUJWS receives research articles as well as book reviews that will contribute to the field, revised and expanded versions of symposium papers, and research notes. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are published in Turkish and English.
📌 It is evaluated with the Ithenticate plagiarism programme and the percentage of similarity must be less than 20% excluding references.
📌 SAUJWS is an open-access journal which does not request any subscription fees.
📌 A policy of double-blind refereeing is followed in the journal.
