Sakarya University Journal of Women's Studies (SAUJWS) is published within the Women's Studies Application and Research Center. The main purpose of SAUJWS is to include conceptual, empirical, and methodological studies that will produce a new paradigm for current debates on gender-based equality and justice, especially on women, family, and children thus criticizing the hegemonic concepts, theories, and methods developed due to Eurocentrism. SAUJWS is a national peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year (June-December). SAUJWS receives research articles as well as book reviews that will contribute to the field, revised and expanded versions of symposium papers, and research notes.
