During the application process, it is important for the author(s) to consider the following explanations. The manuscript template will help the author(s) for writing rules (click here for the manuscript template).
The candidate article should be written on A4 paper with 2.5 cm margins.
Each paragraph should contain at least three sentences.
Georgia font style should be used throughout the manuscript.
The full text of the candidate article in English should include the following headings: Title, Abstract, Key Words, Introduction, Method, Findings, Discussion and Conclusion, Recommendations, References, Biographical Notes.
The English title of the candidate article should be between 10-18 words.
The English abstract of the candidate article should be between 150-250 words.
The English abstract of the candidate article should include the general content of the study, problem statement, aim, method, results and recommendations.
The English abstract of the candidate article should not include citations.
The keywords of the English abstract of the candidate article should be written between 3-7 words.
The “Introduction” of the candidate article should include the problem statement, purpose, significance and research questions.
The following subheadings and explanations should be included under the “Method” heading of the candidate article:

Findings should be written for all research questions.F
Tables, figures and graphs should be prepared in accordance with the specifications specified in the “Article Template”.
Research results should be written within the framework of the relevant literature.
Research results should be written by taking into account the findings and results of previous research on a similar topic.
Research results should be discussed within the framework of the relevant literature.
Recommendations for educators and policy makers should be included.
Suggestions for future practices and research should be developed.
Limitations of the research should be stated.
All references in the text should be included in the bibliography.
APA7 style should be used in references writing.
Contribution rate and conflict of interest of the researchers should be indicated.
If any award, financial support, data or permission has been received from any project, institution or person within the scope of the study, it should be stated.
Any institution or person should be thanked for their contribution to the study.
The Turkish extended abstract of the candidate article should include Turkish Title, Abstract, Introduction, Method, Findings, Conclusion and Discussion, Recommendations (Türkçe Başlık, Özet, Anahtar Kelimeler, Giriş, Yöntem, Bulgular, Sonuç ve Tartışma, Öneriler).
The Turkish title of the candidate article should be between 10-18 words.

All articles published in TAY Journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. This license grants you the right to copy and redistribute all published articles, datasets, graphics and appendices, provided that you cite the source. However, these materials may not be used for commercial purposes, nor may modified or reworked versions be distributed.
TAY Journal acknowledges the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies in scholarly writing. To maintain academic integrity and transparency, the following policy applies:
Author(s) submitting articles to the TAY Journal are required to pay the fee at the time of submission, regardless of whether the article is accepted or rejected. The fee is collected only once at the time of submission. No additional fees are charged for published or accepted articles. The fees collected are used to cover the costs of the secretariat preliminary review, editorial preliminary evaluation, peer review processes, publication preparations, and the journal’s administrative expenses.
1. Standard Article Processing Charge
Standard Article Processing Charge: 3750 ₺
Payment of this fee is required in order to initiate the peer review process after the article has been uploaded to the journal system. This fee covers the following processes:
• Secretariat preliminary review
• Editorial preliminary evaluation
• Peer review process and editorial coordination
• (If accepted) publication preparation processes
• Administrative expenses related to the journal’s sustainability
If accepted, no additional fees will be charged. The fee paid covers the costs associated with the process.
If rejected, no refund will be issued. The corresponding author whose article is not accepted for publication may submit a second article to our journal without paying an additional service fee.
Important Note: The article processing charge is independent of acceptance for publication and is intended solely to cover the costs of the editorial and peer-review processes. Payment of the fee does not guarantee acceptance.
2. Loyalty Discount
If a corresponding author has a research article published in TAY Journal within the same calendar year, a 25% loyalty discount is applied to the second research article submitted within that year.The request for the loyalty discount must be clearly stated and documented in the cover letter during manuscript submission. This discount does not confer any privilege in the review process and is subject to editorial approval.
Important Note: In accordance with the journal’s policy, the following principle is observed: “An author may publish no more than one article per issue and no more than two articles in a single year.”
3. Reviewer Contribution Incentive
Corresponding authors who have submitted at least one completed peer-review report for TAY Journal within the calendar year may be eligible for a 25% incentive discount. The request for the reviewer contribution incentive must be clearly stated and documented in the cover letter during manuscript submission. Peer-review reports must be submitted on time and meet the editorial quality standards. This discount does not confer any privilege in the review process and is subject to editorial approval.
4. Combination of Discounts
Discounts can be combined subject to editor approval.
5. Payment and Account Information
The application fee must be deposited into the account provided below after the manuscript has been uploaded to the system, and the payment receipt must be sent via email to contact@tayjournal.com. The payment must be made by the corresponding author, and the receipt description must include the FULL NAME / ARTICLE TITLE.
