Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to the Turkish Journal of Health Sciences and Research must prepare and upload their submissions in accordance with the guidelines outlined below. Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements will be returned to the authors without review. The journal uses the DergiPark system for manuscript submissions.
1. Publication Policies
The journal accepts manuscripts in both Turkish and English. Only submissions that are of sufficient scientific quality and are consistent with the aims and scope of the Turkish Journal of Health Sciences and Research (TJHSR) will be considered for review.
The journal is a peer-reviewed publication. Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by the Editorial Board and at least two independent reviewers. Manuscripts receiving positive evaluations from at least two reviewers are scheduled for publication upon approval by the Editorial Board, based on the completion date of the review process.
The scientific and legal responsibility of the published articles belongs to the author(s). In order to maintain the journal’s integrity and academic standards, all submissions are screened for similarity using the iThenticate plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 15% (excluding references, in-text citations, proper nouns, and institutional definitions) will not be accepted.
The journal adheres to a double-blind peer review process, in which both the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed. Editors may submit their own manuscripts; however, in such cases, the review process is managed by alternative editorial board members.
For original research articles, Ethics Committee approval must be stated within the manuscript and a copy must be uploaded during submission.
During submission, a Copyright Transfer Form, signed by all authors, must be uploaded to the system.
Authors are required to upload a plagiarism (similarity) report at the initial submission stage, with a maximum similarity rate of 15%.
