International Journal of Business Science and Applications is an interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, international and double-blind peer-reviewed journal published online and three times a year (April, August, December) within Düzce University Faculty of Business Administration.

The aim of the journal is to publish empirical studies, theoretical studies, comparative studies and case studies in the sub-disciplines of business science such as management, production, marketing, accounting, finance and human resources and in the disciplines of economics, management information systems, international trade and finance, finance and insurance and social security, which are closely related to business science.

Articles should not be shorter than 5,000 words and not longer than 10,000 words.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal should not have been previously published elsewhere or already submitted for publication elsewhere.

Manuscripts are accepted in Turkish and English and the author(s) should prepare the manuscript according to the American Psychological Association (APA) Publication Manual (6th edition)

1. International Journal of Business Science and Applications is an international refereed journal published three times a year in April, August and December. It publishes original scientific studies on production, marketing, management, finance, accounting and human resources from the components of business science and management informatics, health management, international trade and finance, insurance and social security from other fields of business science.

2. Articles submitted to the journal should be in Turkish or English. Articles published in the journal must be written in accordance with the rules of science, grammar and spelling. In this respect, the responsibility belongs to the authors of the article. All publication rights of the accepted studies will belong to the International Journal of Business Science and Applications.

3. The author(s) must prepare their articles within the framework of the journal publication rules and in accordance with the scientific ethical rules. Articles that are not prepared in accordance with the rules will not be evaluated.

4. The manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been published or submitted for publication anywhere before.

5. The first review of the studies submitted to the journal is carried out by the editorial board in terms of the suitability of the relevant study to the journal's mission. The studies found appropriate in this respect are then examined in terms of their compliance with the journal's editorial board. Studies that are not submitted in accordance with the spelling rules are returned to the authors. The manuscripts that are found to comply with the spelling rules are then scanned by internationally accepted similarity scanning programs such as Turnitin (excluding one-to-one citations, bibliography and footnotes cited in accordance with academic rules). Manuscripts with more than 20% similarity are returned directly to the author(s) together with the scanning result report.

6. The manuscripts submitted to the journal, whose initial checks are successful, are sent to at least two referees with the decision of the Editorial Board. If the Editorial Board deems necessary, it may increase the number of referees or apply to the Advisory Board. The referees evaluating the article may accept, reject or request corrections from the authors. The corrections requested by the referees must be corrected by the authors within 30 days and resubmitted to the journal. Articles submitted to the journal are accepted and published with the decision of the Editorial Board if they receive positive opinions from at least two separate referees.

7. All authors are deemed to have accepted that all publication rights of the work belong to the International Journal of Business Science and Applications indefinitely by filling out the “Copyright Transfer Form” on behalf of all authors before the work accepted for publication. 8. While the layout work is being done, the author(s) should respond to the submissions sent to them for control and correction within the specified periods. The works of the author(s) who do not respond within the specified periods will be postponed to be evaluated in the next issue.

9. Articles that have successfully completed the evaluation process are published, taking into account the date of receipt and the approval of the editorial board.
