The responsibility of all articles published in the journal of International Journal of Social Sciences (USBAD) in terms of language, science and law belongs to its authors and the rights of publication belongs to USBAD. Published articles may not be published or reproduced in whole or in any way without the written permission of the publisher. The Editorial Board and editors are free to publish or not to publish the articles sent to the journal. Submitted articles are not refundable.

General Principles

1 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (USBAD) Journal is an international peer-reviewed journal published twice a year. Special or additional issues may be published where necessary. The journal follows the Open Access Policy.

2 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (USBAD) is a journal that publishes articles on Turkology, literature, history, social sciences and educational sciences. Within this framework, it also publishes original scientific articles, translations, translation-writings, interviews, books, articles, symposiums, panel and other scientific activities and necrology texts. In addition, symposium proceedings may be published, provided that the venue, meeting and date are presented and not published elsewhere. However, any responsibility that may arise from this publication activity rests with the author.

3 Articles submitted to the Journal of International Journal of Social Sciences (USBAD) should not have been published in any media before, and when it is added to the system, another publication should not participate in the publication evaluation process.

5. The inclusion of any manuscript in the electronic system of the Journal of the International Journal of Social Sciences (USBAD) is accepted as an application for publication and the evaluation process of the manuscript begins.

6. All the processes from the application process to the publication of the manuscript are carried out electronically.

7. The publication and publication rights of the manuscripts sent to the International Journal of Social Sciences (USBAD) for the publication are transferred to the journal. These manuscripts may not be published, reproduced or used in any other publication without permission from the journal management. INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES ACADEMY (USBAD) Journal can publish its published texts in various media.

8. Any legal, legal, economic and ethical responsibility that may arise from the articles submitted to the Journal of the International Journal of Social Sciences (USBAD) belongs to the authors, even if the article has been published. The journal accepts no liability.

9th INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (USBAD) Journal is published in Turkish, English, German, French, Russian, Arabic, Persian and so on. Articles from languages are also evaluated and published if it is deemed appropriate to be published by the referees.

Evaluation process

10. International Journal of Social Sciences Academy (USBAD) Journal's system is not included in the manuscript or any references to the identity of the author. The information of the authors of the manuscripts that are deemed appropriate to be published after the referee process is added by the editors at the publication stage.

11. Every article uploaded to the journal of the International Journal of Social Sciences (USBAD) is first evaluated by the editor or assistant editors for their compliance with the principles of writing and publication. As a result of this evaluation, if there are corrections to be made by the author, the manuscript is returned to the author by requesting correction.

12. Articles that do not comply with the writing principles are not sent to the referee.

13. Articles deemed suitable for evaluation in terms of writing and publication principles are directed to the referees. At least two referees are appointed for the evaluation of each manuscript that is approved by the editor. The referees determined for the manuscripts that are included in the evaluation process are selected among the persons who have expertise in the field and department represented by the manuscript.

14. The names of referees and authors are mutually confidential.

15. The evaluation period of the manuscripts sent to the referees is maximum 15 days. The referee who does not make an evaluation within 15 days is given an additional 7 days and a reminder mail is sent. At the end of this process, a new arbitrator is appointed for the article not reported.

16. The article which receives two positive referee reports from the field evaluation is entitled to be published. The manuscript receiving a positive and negative referee report is sent to a third referee and it is determined in accordance with the third referee's report whether or not the manuscript is published.

17. The referees may wish to see the manuscript they wish to correct once more before being published. If this request is stated in the report, the corrected version of the text is sent to the referee by the editor.

18. The authors may object to the arbitrator's report in a reasonable manner and with convincing data. The objections are reviewed by the journal management and, if deemed appropriate, the opinions of a different arbitrator (or referees) may be consulted.

19th INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (USBAD)The period of the evaluation process of the articles added to the ik system can be followed by the authors using their own membership information. The arbitrator process should be monitored meticulously and, as the system is entitled to change only once, any arbitrator assessments should be finalized and reports must be entered into the system for possible changes.

20. Journal editors carefully follow the corrections given by the referees. Accordingly, editors may decide whether or not to publish a manuscript.

Writing Principles

21. Download the template in the "Word" format under the "Article Template" header from the main page of Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/usbad). Prepare your article file by organizing your article according to this template. If there are issues not included in the template, apply the items below.

22. At the beginning of the original articles sent to the Journal of International Journal of Social Sciences Academy (USBAD) for publication, Turkish language (Abstract), English (Abstract) and 3-5 word Turkish (Keywords) consisting of maximum 200 words, English (Keywords) and Turkish and English titles should be included.

23. MLA or preferably APA should be used as citation system in the article.

24. At the end of the text, a list of sources used in the study is given under the title REFERENCES. This bibliography, which lists the references used in the study, is prepared alphabetically according to the author surname order.

25. In accordance with the template, articles are given headers, footers, and page numbers.

26. For spelling and punctuation marks, the spelling and spelling guide of TDK is taken aside, except for the differences related to the content of the text.

27. In studies where a special font (font) not included in Microsoft Word program is used, font file is added to the system along with the article.

28. The page layout of the articles to be added to the system must be made by the author and in accordance with the following values:

Font: Verdana

Margins: Bottom-Top-Right-Left 3 cm

Font Size: 12 in title, 12 in text, 11 in abstracts, 10 points in footer-footer and footnote

Paragraph Spacing: First 0 pt - then 6 pk

Paragraph Indent: First Line in Text 1 cm

Line Spacing: 1.15 in text, Single in footnotes

29. Figures, tables and photographs should not extend beyond the writing area. If necessary, this condition can be met with font size and / or line spacing.

30. Figure and Table titles that should be prepared in accordance with the 11-point Verdana character must be numbered (Table 1, such as Table 2).

31. Numbers and titles; The figure should be written under the table and photographs with 10 font size.

32. Our journal requires "Extended Abstract-Extended Abstract" for the articles to be published, as required by the applications made to be scanned in new and important indexes. Details are included in the article template.

Note: Articles that do not comply with the Editorial Principles of the Journal of International Social Sciences Journal (USBAD) are not taken into consideration.

ETHICS POLICY

AUTHORS 'ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Author (s) who submit a study to the Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy are expected to comply with the following ethical responsibilities:

- It is expected that the works submitted by the author (s) will be original. If the author (s) benefit from or use other studies, they must cite and / or quote completely and accurately.

- People who do not contribute to the content intellectually in the creation of the study should not be specified as authors.

- The situations and relationships of all the works that may constitute a conflict of interest, if any, must be explained.

- The author (s) may request raw data regarding their articles within the framework of evaluation processes, in such a case, the author (s) should be ready to present the expected data and information to the editorial board and scientific board.

- Author (s) must have the rights to use the data used, the necessary permissions for research / analysis, or are obliged to ensure the protection of human and animal rights in their work. The ethics committee approval for the subjects used in the studies is deemed to have accepted that the study may be rejected in the absence of permissions for experimental research.

- In the event that the author (s) notices a mistake or error in their published work, at the early view or evaluation stage, the journal editor or publisher has an obligation to cooperate with the editor in informing, correcting or withdrawing.

- Authors cannot have their work in the application process of more than one journal at the same time. Each application can be started following completion of the previous application. A study published in another journal cannot be sent to the Usbad International Academy of Social Sciences Journal.

- Changing author responsibilities (such as adding authors, changing the order of authors, removing authors) for a study whose evaluation process has started cannot be proposed.

- It should be stated that the articles submitted to the journal are not sent to another journal and the Copyright Agreement (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/usbad) should be filled. The author (s) must sign the filled form with a wet signature. The signed form must be scanned and uploaded to the Dergipark system.

- Authors must have obtained legal permissions for all kinds of copyrighted images used in their articles, Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy is not responsible for copyright problems arising from the use of images.

- The magazine does not give any guarantee or accept any responsibility for the characteristics and explanations of the commercial products in the article published in the journal for advertising purposes. If the article has a direct or indirect business link or financial support institution for the study, the authors must declare this link and declare that there is no commercial relationship between them.

ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF REFEREES

The evaluation process of all articles applying to the Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy is carried out by the method of "bilateral blind review". Referees cannot contact the authors directly, evaluations and comments are submitted through the journal management system. In this process, referee comments on evaluation forms and full texts are sent to the author (s) through the editor. In this context, it is expected that referees evaluating a study for the Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy have the following ethical responsibilities:

- It should only accept to evaluate articles related to the field of expertise.

- It should evaluate in impartiality and confidentiality.

- If he / she thinks that he / she faces a conflict of interest during the evaluation process, he / she should refuse to review the study and inform the editor of the journal.

- Due to the principle of confidentiality, they should destroy the studies they examine after the evaluation process. They can only use the final versions of the studies they have reviewed, only after they have been published.

- Make the assessment objectively only in relation to the content of the study. It should not allow nationality, gender, religious beliefs, political beliefs, and business concerns to influence the assessment.

- The assessment should be made in a constructive and polite language. He should not make derogatory personal comments that contain hostility, slander and insult.

- They should perform the work they have accepted to evaluate, on time and with the above ethical responsibilities.

- If they deem necessary, they can exchange views with the editor during the evaluation process.

ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF EDITOR, ASSISTANT EDITORS AND FIELD EDITORS

Editor and assistant editors of the Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy, open access to the following ethical guidelines on the basis of the "COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors" and "COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors". should have roles and responsibilities.

Editors and referees consider the texts sent to the journal for publication according to academic values and criteria and accept or reject them. In this process, each text is handled impartially, and the texts are evaluated with academic criteria, without discrimination on the basis of their authors' race, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, political or other opinion, property, seniority, title, institutional relations or any other feature. In situations that may involve conflict of interest, the author, referee and editor are responsible to each other. In the articles sent to the journal, if one of the components (author, referee or editor) involved in the publishing process is in a competition of interest that may negatively affect the publication process (article submission, evaluation, editorial decisions; communication between the author, referee and editors) conflict has to be stated.

Editors are responsible for every publication published in the Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy. In the context of this responsibility, editors bear the following obligations.

- It should make an effort to meet the information needs of readers and authors, and within this scope, it is obliged to carefully examine the complaints from the author, referee or readers and respond in an enlightening and explanatory manner.

- Continuous improvement of the journal,

- Conducting the processes to improve the quality of the studies published in the journal,

- Supporting freedom of thought,

- Ensuring academic integrity,

- Continuing business processes without compromising intellectual property rights and ethical standards,

- Showing clarity and transparency in terms of publication in matters requiring correction, explanation, informing the editorial board when necessary,

- Editors; It is obliged to apply the "bilateral blind refereeing" method in the journal publishing policy. In this context, editors ensure that each work is completed in a fair, impartial and timely evaluation process.

The editor of the journal is responsible for the smooth publication of every published text or rejection and return to the author, and may decide whether a text is sent to the referee or rejected without sending it to the referee. The editor may consult with the editorial board and advisory board members on the decisions to be taken regarding the publication process.

EDITOR AND AUTHOR RELATIONSHIP

- Editors should make positive or negative decisions based on the importance of the studies, the original value, validity, clarity of expression, and the journal's goals and objectives.

- Unless the studies that are suitable for the scope of the publication do not have serious problems, they should be included in the pre-evaluation stage.

- Editors should not ignore the positive referee suggestions unless there is a serious problem with the work.

- New editors should not change the decisions made by the previous editor (s) regarding the work unless there is a serious problem.

- The authors should be provided with descriptive and informative notification and feedback.

- Editor is responsible for protecting the individual data of the author, referee and readers.

- The editor should take into account the persuasive criticism of the works published in the journal and should take a constructive attitude towards these criticisms. It should give the author (s) the right to reply to the criticized studies.

- The editorial process continues until the publication of the manuscript, except for the correction suggestions of the referees, the editor can request correction from the authors until the last stage.

EDITOR AND REFEREE RELATIONSHIP

The duties and responsibilities of editors towards referees are as follows:

- It should determine the referees in accordance with the subject of the study.

- It is obliged to provide the information and guides that referees will need during the evaluation phase.

- It has to observe whether there is a conflict of interest among the authors and referees.

- In the context of blinding refereeing, the identity information of the referees should be kept confidential.

- Encourage referees to consider working in an impartial, scientific and objective language.

- Evaluate the referees with criteria such as timely return and performance.

- It should determine practices and policies that increase the performance of referees.

- Take the necessary steps to dynamically update the referee pool.

- Avoid impolite and unscientific evaluations.

- Take steps to ensure that the referee pool is made up of a broad spectrum.

- It should ensure that the judgments that contain errors, inconsistencies or misdirections in the studies are quickly corrected.

EDITOR AND EDITORIAL BOARD RELATIONSHIP

Editors should inform editorial board members about editorial policies and keep them informed of developments. The new editorial board should educate its members on broadcast policies and provide the information they need.

In addition, the editors;

- Editorial board members should ensure that they evaluate the work impartially and independently.

- Identify new editorial board members who are able to contribute and are appropriate.

- The editorial board should send the works appropriate to the field of expertise of the members for evaluation.

- Should be in regular interaction with the editorial board.

- It should organize meetings with the editorial board at regular intervals for the development of publishing policies and the journal.

- Special issue and file subjects are determined by the editorial board.

REFEREE EVALUATION PROCESS

Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy uses the method of "two-sided blind refereeing", in which the identities of the author and referee are hidden (the author and the referee do not see and know each other) during the evaluation process of all the articles that are evaluated by the referee.

The editor clearly states that the articles submitted to the referees for review are the private property of the authors and that this is a privileged communication. Referees and editorial board members cannot discuss articles open to the public. Referees may not make copies of articles for personal use and cannot hand over articles without the permission of the editor. The reviews of the referees cannot be published or disclosed without the permission of the author and editor. Care should be taken to keep the identity of the referees anonymous. In some cases, with the decision of the editor, the relevant referees' comments on the article can be sent to other referees who interpret the same article, and the referees can be enlightened in this process

Each article submitted is primarily evaluated by the editor (s). At this stage, studies that do not fall within the scope and purpose of the journal, are not considered sufficient in terms of language and expression rules as the preferred language, contain scientific critical information errors, do not have original value and do not meet the journal's publication policies are rejected by the editor.

Rejected manuscripts (with minor changes or simply by changing the name) cannot be sent back to the Usbad International Academy of Social Sciences Journal, but they can be resubmitted provided that the reasons for rejection are corrected. Before sending an article to the referee, the editor can make suggestions to the author and request a correction. Studies found appropriate are sent to two referees who are experts in their fields for evaluation. Articles that receive a negative evaluation from one of the two referees are sent to a third referee. The article that receives positive approval from 2 of the 3 referees is published, if it is negative, the article is considered rejected and removed from the publication process. Referees are required to evaluate the manuscripts sent to them within 15 days. Referees can examine the revisions of a work and decide whether it is appropriate or, if necessary, request corrections more than once. While the articles are sent to the referees, their expertise and interests are taken into consideration, so the title of the author of the article and the hierarchy created by this title are not important in terms of journal publishing policy.

Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy is aware of its responsibility in accordance with the international ethical rules to ensure that all articles submitted to the journal are completed in an independent and impartial manner. If there is any conflict of interest between the author and the referees regarding the application or evaluation of an article, this should be reported to the editor.

Plagiarism control is made through software for articles sent to the journal. By examining the matches created by the software of each study in depth, the matches with the correct reference and citation are extracted. As a result of sorting, the remaining matches are examined, errors are detected and reported to the editorial board. The editorial board makes its final decision on the study in the light of the plagiarism audit report for each study. The authors may be asked to correct the errors in the report or the study can be returned to the authors.

SUITABLE AND NON-ETHICAL BEHAVIOR

All articles submitted to the Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy are scanned by https://intihal.net/ software before publication. The similarity rate is 30%. Articles below the similarity ratio are accepted for publication. Articles exceeding this rate are examined in detail and, if necessary, sent back to the authors for review or correction, and if plagiarism or unethical behavior is detected, their publication is rejected.

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

Usbad International Journal of Social Sciences Academy has adopted the policy of providing open access with its publication. The journal is protected in terms of intellectual property rights. The readers of the journal can share the journal material by giving reference; It can copy and redistribute in any media and format. However, the materials of the Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal cannot be used for commercial purposes or subject to legal or technological measures limiting the right of disposal of other right holders in the criteria permitted by the license. If a previously published quote, article, table, picture etc. If available, the article author must obtain written permission from the copyright holder and authors and indicate this in the article. The author (s) are responsible whether the necessary permissions have been obtained.
