Corona Virus Outbreak Crisis: Food Safety and Measures

Yıl 2021, Cilt: 16 Sayı: 62, 189 - 202, 01.04.2021

Öz

The recent Coronavirus disease (Covid-19), which the World Health Organization (WHO) has described as a pandemic,is affecting all parts of human society including agriculture, manufacturing and teritery sectors that encompass all service delivery industries. This work deals with the problems caused by the epidemic to the food industry, addressing the existence and continuation of SARS-CoV-2 in the food environment, and methods for inhibiting the virus and protecting the food factor and the consumer. Although food has not been involved in transmission the infection, the social disruption caused by the epidemic can cause food security problems.
