DİJİTAL EBEVEYNLİK: YENİ NESİL RİSKLERE KARŞI MODERN EBEVEYNLİK STRATEJİLERİ

Öz

Bu çalışma, teknolojinin hızlı gelişimiyle birlikte çocukların karşılaştığı yeni nesil riskleri (dijital bağımlılık, siber zorbalık, çevrimiçi cinsel istismar, uygunsuz içerikler, mahremiyet ihlalleri ile sosyal medya baskısı ve beden algısı) ele almakta ve bu risklere karşı dijital ebeveynlik stratejilerinin önemini vurgulamaktadır. Literatür taraması kapsamında dijital ebeveynliğin tanımı ve kapsamı, detaylandırılmış, dijital ebeveynlik uygulamalarının çocuklar üzerindeki etkileri anlatılmıştır. Çalışma, dijital ebeveynliğin çocukların iyi oluşuna katkı sağlayan etkilerini ortaya koyarak, ebeveynlerin dijital okuryazarlık becerilerinin geliştirilmesine yönelik öneriler sunmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular, çocukları dijital risklerden korumada etkili eğitim programlarına duyulan ihtiyacı göstermektedir.

DIGITAL PARENTING: MODERN PARENTING STRATEGIES AGAINST NEW-GENERATION RISKS

Öz

This study addresses the new-generation risks that children face with the rapid advancement of technology, such as digital addiction, cyberbullying, online grooming, exposure to inappropriate content, privacy violations, and social media pressure related to body image. Within the scope of this literature review, the definition and scope of digital parenting are elaborated, and the impacts of digital parenting practices on children are discussed. The study highlights the positive contributions of digital parenting to children’s well-being and provides suggestions for improving parents’ digital literacy skills. The findings indicate a need for effective educational programs to protect children from digital risks.
