Öz

This review study aims to examine the concept of coparenting through its theoretical foundations and its reflections across various family structures. Coparenting refers to a multidimensional relational process involving the sharing of parenting responsibilities and caregiving roles, regardless of family type. The study conceptually addresses coparenting from the perspectives of General Systems Theory, Structural Family Systems Theory, Ecological Systems Theory, and Gender Roles Theory. In addition, it evaluates the functioning of coparenting within different family structures, including married, divorced, remarried, adoptive, foster, and grandparent-headed families. Considering the limited theoretical framework surrounding the concept in the Turkish context, this study aims to contribute to the literature and offer a multilayered perspective on coparenting processes.

BİRLİKTE EBEVEYNLİK: KAVRAMSAL BİR İNCELEME VE FARKLI AİLE YAPILARI AÇISINDAN DEĞERLENDİRME

Öz

Bu derleme çalışması, birlikte ebeveynlik kavramını kuramsal temelleri ve farklı aile yapılarındaki yansımaları üzerinden incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Birlikte ebeveynlik, çocuk bakımı ve ebeveynlik sorumluluklarının paylaşımını ifade eden, aile yapısından bağımsız olarak işleyen çok boyutlu bir ilişkisel süreçtir. Çalışmada Genel Sistem Kuramı, Yapısal Aile Sistemleri Kuramı, Ekolojik Sistem Kuramı ve Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri perspektifinden birlikte ebeveynlik olgusu kuramsal düzeyde ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca, evli, boşanmış, yeniden evlenmiş, evlat edinen, koruyucu ve büyükanne-büyükbaba ile yaşayan aile yapılarında birlikte ebeveynliğin işleyiş biçimleri değerlendirilmiştir. Türkiye bağlamında kavramın kuramsal çerçevesi sınırlı olduğundan, bu çalışma alanyazına katkı sunmayı ve birlikte ebeveynlik süreçlerine yönelik çok katmanlı bir bakış açısı geliştirmeyi hedeflemektedir.
