Öz

This study aims to investigate the mediating role of self-efficacy in the effect of cultural intelligence, emotional intelligence, and social intelligence on job performance. The research data were collected from a sample of 446 individuals working in a public institution with staff throughout Turkey and abroad. The analysis and hypothesis tests were conducted using IBM SPSS 27 and SmartPLS 4 software. The Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was employed to assess the hypotheses. The findings indicate that cultural intelligence, emotional intelligence, and social intelligence positively influence self-efficacy. Furthermore, cultural intelligence and emotional intelligence, along with self-efficacy, have a positive impact on job performance; however, social intelligence is not significantly related to job performance. The study concludes that self-efficacy has a mediating role in the effects of cultural intelligence, emotional intelligence, and social intelligence on job performance. It is expected that the results obtained from this research will contribute to the managers and employees in organizations, researchers, and existing literature.
