Öz

Aim
This study aims to refine the current definitions of the concepts of role, competency, and proficiency, which are always on the agenda of nursing, to resolve conflicts about these concepts, to sharpen theoretical definitions, and to create current and simple definitions that can be used in the field of nursing by reorganizing the concepts in a way that is appropriate to the native language.
Method
Rodger’s concept analysis method was used in the study phases. In addition, the interview technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used to support the study, and stakeholder opinions were obtained to increase the national acceptance of the definitions, and a workshop was organized for this stage.
Result
Within the scope of the literature review, individual interviews and workshop data obtained in the study, current definitions of the concepts of role in nursing, competency in nursing and proficiency in nursing were made.
Conclusion
As a result of the study, the definitions of the concepts of role, competency, and proficiency in nursing have been updated in a way that is current, appropriate to the profession and native language, definitions that can be used in the field of nursing have been made, and it has been suggested that they be used in this way in the field.

Hemşirelikte Rol, Yeterlik ve Yetkinlik: Kavram Çalışması

Öz

Amaç
Bu çalışmanın amacı hemşireliğin daima gündeminde olan rol, yeterlik ve yetkinlik kavramlarının mevcut tanımlarını iyileştirmek, bu kavramlar hakkındaki çatışmaları çözmek, teorik tanımları keskinleştirmek ve kavramları ana dile uygun şekilde yeniden düzenleyerek hemşirelik alanında kullanılabilecek güncel ve sade tanımlar yapmaktır.
Yöntem
Çalışma aşamalarında Rodger’ın kavram analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bununla birlikte çalışmayı destekleyici olarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden görüşme tekniği kullanılmış ve tanımların ulusal çapta kabul edilirliğini arttırmak amacı ile paydaş görüşleri alınmış bu aşama için çalıştay düzenlenmiştir.
Bulgular
Çalışmada elde edilen literatür taraması, bireysel görüşme ve çalıştay verileri dahilinde hemşirelikte rol, hemşirelikte yeterlik ve hemşirelikte yetkinlik kavramlarının güncel tanımları yapılmıştır.
Sonuç
Çalışma sonucunda hemşirelikte rol, yeterlik ve yetkinlik kavramlarının tanımları güncellenmiş, mesleğe ve ana dile uygun şekilde düzenlenmiş hemşirelik alanında kullanılabilecek tanımları yapılmış ve alanda bu şekilde kullanımı önerilmiştir.
