Öz
The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions of preschool children about Atatürk. In the study, it was also aimed to examine the activities of families with their children, which are thought to shape the children's perception of Atatürk, and to what extent preschool teachers included activities related to Atatürk in their plans and in what types of activities. Qualitative research method and phenomenological design were used in this study. Criterion sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods, was used to determine the study group of the study. The study group consists of 30 children, 30 parents and 10 teachers. In the study, in which the interview technique and document analysis were used for data collection, the data were analyzed by content analysis method. During the research, various applications were carried out to increase the validity and reliability of the research. As a result of the research, it was determined that children and parents mostly focused on the military aspect of Atatürk. It was determined that the children who participated in the research included the gains about Ataturk only in certain months in the monthly plans of their preschool teachers and within the framework of these plans, they generally performed Turkish and art activities with the children in their classes.
